yeah, it is, i'll dig up some of my old disks and find the dse dll files that are needed, but it's a specific version of 4.10 i think x86 version. I'll figure it out shortlyh.

No worries, I got it sorted and did my own patch. 🙂

Now I'm trying to find a way to load HDR images via script. I'll probably have to use ImageMagick to process them externally.

@aftyrbyrn - I'd be interested in any info you can share on this. Not so much "here's the patched DLL," but "here's how this was figured out." Looking at poking at this myself - maybe create a plugin that could use the support inside DS to do this reliably cross-version.

You'll need a debugger and somthing to change the true to false, and false to true when it opens a dse file. The files are natively decrypted in daz, and if someone could just get the encryption key, we could make them from the file it self, and just decrypt them. I can't find the versions i had, system rebuild and just can't find it.

Useful information. It was easier than I expected. Debugging was not necessary, everything works with latest 64 bit daz so far. But since Richard is swearing on his mother's grave that dse in uncrackable, let's cooperate and do not make any decryptors available online.

Yes, it's a stupid simple patch to the dll... and if you put an ounce of thought to it, it's just as easy to patch it so BOTH encrypted and unencrypted scripts display in the same console.

And yes, this should remain a homebrew solution, not to be released in the wild.
We've all seen what happened when SARS-CoV2 escaped the lab....

It's one of those things - if you need it that badly, you'll easily figure/find it out, and if you can't, you don't need it. 🙂

@randy20, and others...I don't think it's "nice" to talk about this in the open.
Daz is reading us. It would be more consequent to talk in private, to avoid possible variations in code.
Let's not be so splendid to give solutions for programmers....
(If anyone wants a consultation, PM me..., and we'll talk about whatever it takes. Don't spam solutions, I've already told Hunter...)
DONT SPEAK MORE about this, please. Only PM.

I have been scouring the internet trying to find a .dse decrypter but have not had any luck. My library is, simply put, too big to manage, so I've been trying to move them all into common folders instead of separating items by author. This, however breaks internal links. I have a batch program to rename the link paths for unencrypted files, but all my encrypted files remain broken. If anyone could help me out with that, I'd be grateful. For the OP, a while back, I reverse-engineered a G3 to G8 pose converter to make a G8 to G3 pose converter. It's unencrypted, so feel free to pull it apart and see how it ticks and maybe you can figure out how to modify it for G2, if you still need that capability. I tried to upload it through the site but that requires using third-party image hosting sites that don't work, so I'll just post a link in here and hope it isn't blocked.
