    @amberleaf

    I've always been curious how to determine the geometry/texture/materials video memory being used for a render. What are you using to get that info? Would love to have something like that.

    @Chapter Hawk

    Hey, all the info is available in your LOG FILE. Look in HELP and scroll down to TROUBLE SHOOTING then LOG FILE.
    OR
    Check the little pop up box when you start a render. 🙂

    amberleaf, thanks for the suggestion. My v4 stuff is on a couple of thumb drives that I haven't touched in a few years. I haven't hardly d/l G3 stuff since late 2018, much less V4. Not sure I want to break out those drives and load it into DS. I already have a couple of thousand things in my content library with almost 3 TB sitting on an external HDD of mostly G8 stuff with things I've forgotten I even have.

    @legolas18

    I really want Decimator to work, it looks like something really useful.

    But, when I use the EXE (DS4_Decimator_1.7.2.70_Win64) from here (https://zonegfx.com/decimator-v1-7-2-70/) it says it cannot find "installation path for DAZ Studio".

    What should I do?

    Grateful for all input!

    There is a discussion here (https://zonegfx.com/forums/topic/decimator-for-daz-studio-update/) about latest version of Decimator and whether it works with 4.12 or not, maybe you could give some useful input there...

    I have another installation of Daz on my laptop that is newer and "cleaner". Decimator works fine on that one...!

    So, I guess I have to reinstall Daz on my stationary to get it to work.

    Thanks a lot everyone for your help!!
