Totally agree with both @d0gg0d and @littlepleasures

I see several way to fix broken or outdated systems from members and they ALL go unnoticed. Hunter has moved onto AI art and this site is only coming out of pocket at this point. Sure some donate (I'm one) but for all the years I've been here, I've only donated around $200. I'm sure there aren't many more that do donate. I'm sure that almost 9/10ths of all members have ad-block enabled (I'm one).

So I can see why Hunter only does the bare minimum to keep the site running. I don't at all blame him. I also don't blame the big 10 (points and mod wise) from staying (mostly) on the down-low.

BUT I do not like how some of these big 10 continuously create new requests and they haven't contributed nothing and 'somehow' are still raking in HUGE points. HOW? WHY? What exactly are they going to do with all those points, buy a Bugatti, a house on the beach in Hawaii, the New York Giants?

Anyway, I also agree with @Frank22 and therefore I'm done and FRANKLY, I don't really care.

Just thought I'd stir up that troll-stew cauldron a little bit. 😀

I have a much simpler and pragmatic view of the zone @Kefka. I don't really care what other members do or don't do as it doesn't really affect me personally.... got a very thick skin. Look at it from this perspective - the rationale (prime directive) of the site is to share content and we're number one at that. Anything else like the gallery or the comps or the chat are just an added bonus for the community to enjoy.
So with that in mind, I don't have unrealistic expectations of what the site should be beyond sharing stuff. There's relatively no back-biting compared to some forums I've been on and I actually enjoy coming here each day to chat and see what people are up to, again probably because my expectations for the site are not the same (as high) as yours.
Hunter does the bare minimum to keep the site running because it's already achieving the purpose it was designed for. If you are done and leaving to somewhere better than here then please let me know where that is.

If memory serves correctly, I remember that some time ago the site had a crackdown on multiple accounts before. It is frowned upon here and can lead to a ban.

Also I've been here a long time and have secretly donated a few items to the blog, donated money when I have been able to, but I am not a very social person so I do not post or engage in conversation often.
I would assume that many are the same way?

btw, I do enjoy the community here. I've gotten nothing but help and had some fun conversations with quite a few members here.
The members here are the kindest bunch of "pirates" I have ever been around. 🙂

I’ve been here for a number of months now but only recently been engaging in the community. As a newbie, I’ve gotten some fantastic feedback and found some very interesting conversations with a handful of people. The number of active members engaging in convos are likely a very very insignificant minority, but these are folks that are engaged voluntarily, not by policy or directive. Very recently, I created this account as my other account here is used for sharing.

My only opinion as a newcomer is whether or not the blog shares could be subject to some sort of reward decay, say give a 3x bonus the first two weeks of a new share but then after that revert to 1x. My initial shares were obscure, not very sought after assets, and so by posting directly to the blog, my point accumulation paled substantially in comparison to the forum fills. I also happen to not be browsing for the next new daz content, so I’m a bit slow to respond. Seems like some folks here are at the bleeding edge of new content!

Secondly, to reduce the daily login reward to something like 50 pnts. All it takes is a couple accounts and ips/proxies and people can farm the dailies to megaleach. If there are issues with supply, we shouldn’t penalize and/or we should provide more incentive for supplying. (P.S. despite having two accounts here, I only farm dailies on this one).

Anyhow, there are some very knowledgeable and fun folks here, and I think that’s what makes the site more than just a content sharing hub for some. Otherwise, I think Hunter has done a great job - the whole autopilot, let the site run itself I think is working for the most part!

One of the best ways to never see anything improve is STFU and sit in a corner.

We really have no need to protest things like war. Just let it happen because it will eventually work out.

Corrupt politicians? Just look the other way they'll eventually come around.

You could always take the tried-and-true statement of if you don't like it do it yourself but somehow, I don't see me being elected president. Nor do I feel I could run a site. That probably why I am here. That doesn't mean I don't have valid suggestions. I've seen movies where people were too afraid to tell the director he was going in the wrong direction and the movie sucked.

If you think everything is perfect rainbows and cupcakes, I can't imagine how wonderful that must be. I'm fairly vocal and have never been a bootlicker so I am where I am today mostly because I'm me. If I happen to be labeled a troll, I'll wear that as a badge of honor.
Ive seen what the other side is, and I'll gladly pass.

@Zemlon

oddly I wasn't referring to you at all. I made 2 purchases from the same person to dead links not flagged and they've done nothing to make it right.

It isn't the points issue as it's a matter of principal. I can log in the next day and get the points back. If the posting rules here weren't so fked up I think it would be easier to get content. I've seen nothing but convoluted BS the last couple years.
