@fuzzy3000, he is greatly missed. One of the best mods on the internet imo. Never saw an instance of him getting riled up, always tried to be super-helpful (especially with the FNG's), and took nothing personal.
@frank22, I think a lot of the animosity comes from the zone being at the head of the river of publicly pirated stuff. Sux to share here and have load post it less than a hour later. That and the basic crappy, entitled attitude of a lot of the folks who never post here, except to complain about the uploaders or the way the site is run. Kind of takes the joy out of it.I said before that leachers/cheaters weren't detrimental but I can see that if you share something, and it appears on another site 24 hours later, you are losing your points for it.

1. I often hand points out to nice members with few... lets you out 🙂
2. I use them for art competitions

As much as the idea is a good one (or not). Right now, I'd be lucky to fill maybe 1 or 2 items per fortnight. Over the past month, been spending less with the 3D sites. I am trying to cut down for the moment, as I'm trying to save money.
The only way I would buy something if I want it (and can't use something else) for my art.
