Thought I'd start a thread to centralize asking about and identifying celebrity look alikes and clones that get posted.
To Formalize it a bit, post the link to it's listing here...not the vendor link... and ID or ask who it is.

Yeah.. I felt one in the privacy of THIS forum, rather than on the public Daz one might be better for asking, especially for things recently released in the wild 😀
To be honest most of these so-called look-a-likes fall a long way short of actually looking like who they're supposed to look like. There are a few exceptions, but very few. If someone doesn't state who it's supposed to be (power of suggestion) then it could be anyone. Using AI does a much better job at producing celebrities' faces (+hair/clothing).
I find that AI celebs are either very good or look nothing like who they're supposed to be. The ones that are good, are very VERY good. I assume that the good ones are made using lots of high quality images from a variety of angles by someone who knows what they're doing and gives a darn.
Very true and it also depends on the model .ckpt that you use to train your images. I trained my first lora last week and it worked surprisingly well, but when I used other base .ckpts the likeness was lost to a large degree. On top of that, introducing other loras (even non-character ones) can easily kill the likeness.
As you said, some are just bad but you get to know who makes the good ones and who makes rubbish.PLEASE, there is chats for AI elsewhere, I set this thread up to discuss models that get posted here.

Hopefully it adds value as a more consolidated resource, but that requires commitment. The DAZ threads try, but they're so spread out and random, with massive pages to search. But with the massive amount of content out there, and posted at Zone, the time factor for committing to a well-kept post just didn't fit with a busy IRL schedule, and I balked.

Or am I getting it wrong?@spats I really wanted someone to tell me who "Reliable Bodyguard" is, and that's already failed, and there's been more just random talk than info or lists.
