Let's remove the shadow of doubt and talk about the actual issue that @d0gg0d was referring to. I do think that if you're just sharing a folder to for multiple models that have been posted quite recently to the same site and are just updating the folder with any newly shared models then you're being a dick.
The way this site works and encourages others to share is by utilising a currency and reward scheme. People are rewarded with points in return for sharing products, whether they have bought them or found them. But someone has to buy them for the product to be found out in the wild and being the first source for a product should be rewarded. The fact that someone can just then post those same models in a more affordable bundle a couple of days later on the same site is a slap in the face for the original poster and really deters people to bother posting new items here.
I think that as with any "bundle" there should be a list of contents in the description so that it's known what is contained within. And if the bundle is just a collection of items that are already on the site then maybe it should be removed as it's just a duplicate?
@Hawkeye, the items don't come from the vendor in a bundle and the site specifically asks people to upload items as they come from the vendor. If the OP bought the items from the store individually why shouldn't they get rewarded from the community individually?Finally, if anyone is unhappy with paying points for items then just go elsewhere to download the products. There are multiple sites and sharing groups and don't require you to pay point for a download and usually the new things that get uploaded here get uploaded there fairly quickly.
I am starting to think there should be no bundles so we don't have this issue any more I know it's up to the poster and some stuff comes in actual "Bundles" and is easy to post as one and some like getting it that way, but what do u do like @Para said y have same stuff on site.
@Skinklizzard I did not realize you had already been posting DYYS models. I thought the timing of you posting Yang Lin was a mere coincidence as it hadn't been posted on any other sharing website that I frequent. I will thank you again. Not sure of your source but I hope you will find the other models not yet "free" to download and post them as well. I mentioned charging 100 points for bundles so it would be fair to persons contributing only one at a time as not to reveal their sources as well - or as @d0gg0d did by openly publishing the link for @gicor. @Tootsie, sorry if you think I am pointing fingers. Did @Gicor really "redistribute" models from @d0gg0d? Or did he merely download it then re-present it as a bundle? Perhaps I didn't read ZoneGFX's terms but a source is a source is a source. Unless @d0gg0d proves he has "ownership" of the original posting, then I'm inadvertently pointing all ten of my fingers. Whomever said I don' t lift a finger has never been around me when I'm pissed, for I surely raise at least one finger per hand (lol) sorry, just had to make light. I'm not getting stressed for this Are we not all "artists" here? and are we not all "pirates", too? Argggh. Sorry to offend anyone. Here is my penance for my comment:

@arthurgarcia sorry if there was any crosstalk, I hadn't been posting them previously yang lin was my first upload, source being I paid $8.50 for it. It was one of the models on request that I actually really liked and it wasn't on here or anywhere else I could find (including the gicor bundle as I point bought that to check what items it had in it).

And there are other sites that have VIP only items.
No open leech windows for those goods, pay the site owner and PM a mod for the files. I don't thinks some here appreciate how good they have it.@arthurgarcia, I like value so I like bundles BUT when you're posting items that have only been posted a day or so previously to the same site, then that is taking the piss. If you want to talk "terms" and the letter of the law there is a "no duplicates" policy here at Zone and I would think that doing this would fall into that policy.

We mods are not perfect but I confirm what @skinklizzard says. I checked gicor's bundle before approving Skinlizzard's post: at that moment the file was NOT in that bundle yet.

As @EvilMonkey stated regarding bundles; I believe we ALL like bundles AND appreciate it whether someone contributes one or one hundred models. When they are organized, it makes it so VERY helpful for those of us whom hoard things: both to organize AND to declutter.
I know I've personally decluttered gigabytes of data once I noticed @Gicor and how he organized his bundles. I've seen bundles just thrown together just to be a bundle. with no other reason than it being a bundle. When I saw one on here, I gave feedback and the moderators @Tomsk were quick to reply and rectify the problem. Thank you!!!

oh, and in regards to my comment regarding the price of a bundle, I think a bundle should have no less than 10 DIFFERENT BUT RELATED items if it is to cost more than 50 points. Otherwise ZoneGFX will go the way of those other neglected sites and all their deadlinks and hijacking websites. @Tootsie, @d0gg0d Thank you for all you contribute as well. I spend more time on this website than on any other website AND more time than I actually spend on the DAZ3d and Poser Pro programs, lol.
The thing is...and now i'm being dragged down that accusation road, how easy is it to upload something that is not here already, under the pretence that you bought it?. I bet there's a large % that do this. Now to all the legit buyers ...i'd like to know the real reason you offer your gifts here. Can it really be for the Points?. This really does not make any sense at all to me, and i would really appreciate an honest answer from a legitamate buyer's, not point grabbing pretender's.

I don’t typically request. Not a judgement on those who do, and I may in the future, but usually if there’s a product I want (usually for a current project) I don’t want to wait, because I want immediate production of my compositions. After that, why not share? The points gained from the post offset the purchase in an indirect way, and hopefully someone else can use those products.
in my case I shared it here because where else should I share it? why not in the community that has given me a lot of other stuff? No I didn't buy the model for the purpose of sharing, I saw it and really liked it so bought it for myself and shared it for those requesting it. So no I didn't share it for the points but at the same time the points are nice.

EvilMonkey pretty much vented my thoughts for me.
I never got points on KAT. I Purchased a few Items and was the first seeder. Only to see the item pop up the next day on a share site.
I didnt care cause it was in the spirit of giving and sharing and nobody lost anything really. Here we earn points for whatver they are worth. Like the falling bitcoin. But it is something that is in place to promote sharing, trading, contests ect...
If anyone is allowed to figure a way of stealing that small amount of joy from me or others and it is allowed to happen, then the points are pointless and Its a waste of time to trade or barter with them.
If the person who is bundling other peoples uploads truly wants to share then ANY link they post should be 100% FREE with no point cost.
AND I am actually for that. It frees up my area to post other content and not have to worry about reposting a dead link.
I am all about sharing. But I am not about someone else shaking my hand while shoving a knife up my ass.

Asked them to at least rehost the content with new links.. I got banned. I buy a LOT of stuff that I give to Monk to post cause then they can not really track where it came from xD. I am used to see it popup up right away on other pages when he posts it here... I like this place because people are nice. I choose to ignore people using our links elsewhere. Just not worth the bother. I guess it might be one of the reasons why 3dstuff.ru closed their gates, to prevent something like that from happening. In order to be inclusive we will just have to live with our links being used.
