    Don't forget to check your bundles that you have already downloaded before spending points as there is so much stuff coming through the blog now that has already been posted in bundles posted here.

    What about people posting bundles of items already posted.
    It should work both ways.

    @d0gg0d I agree, so many people waste points on items that they already have and don't realize that they have it. It should be on the post so that people know

    While I take care when posting, double and triple checking to see, there are a LOT of stuff here (mostly bundles) with shitty descriptions, where they don't even list the content of the bundle - for that you need to check it out on DAZ or similar.

    This makes finding items that have already been posted here sometimes a tad difficult, since you might have something you don't even know is part of a bundle (well, of course, if you do your due dilligence and check the original page, it will normally tell you that it is included in this and that bundle as well).

    This is very hard to prevent, though - perhaps encouraging people to double check, do a quick check in DIM for the name of whatever you want to download, for instance? And, of course, stress that uploaders should make sure their content is not on the page from before?

    I try to make it a prerogative to check the vendor page to see if an item is in a bundle or part of a pack. I've been burnt before when seeing a new upload only to find it's in a bundle I already have but haven't looked at in detail.

    I now have all my "products" downloaded into a drive and I wrap the base product in rar's but nest them in their respective "bundle" folders. That way I can search the drive and find the bundle or any particular individual product it contains.

    That's why, on the rare occasion I do post a bundle, I always try to do it as a folder upload on Mega: having access to each individual part means you can pick/choose which ones to download, as opposed to having to download the entire thing all at once. I get why some people choose not to upload bundles that way, but IMHO it's a great way to avoid having to redownload things you already have.

    Plus I think having individual downloads within a bundle upload cuts off people trying to snipe by uploading individual parts from a bundle that's already been posted, but that's just me.

    People need to check as everything that KingSheh is uploading is already here with in bundles that most people have already downloaded.

    When people take items and rebundle them into ( non daz bundles) its reposting and points leaching.

    I could take all of one artists hairs and make an artist specific hair bundle. All I need to do is call it a custom bundle to repost it.

    This is one of the first bitches I had about items I purchased being leached from members of the zone.
    I expected at least fellow zone pirates respect but no honor among thieves.

    If someone drops $89 for a bundle they can shate it however they like. At least they share. Feel free upload your $100 purchases in bundles if you like.

    @tootsie @d0gg0d @ethiopia
    yes it's true my recent posts are from bundles but i didn't post it because of easy points or cheap lazy trick.
    that were the @feymarcher point comes i posted them because
    first there were not as individual downloads if anyone want to download a single file or particular item they have to go through bundle and download 1.8, 1.7, 1.4,or 1.2 gb to get a single item so i was getting same problem and other webstie like topgfx they have this individuals and here on zonegfx i am a 1year old member of this forum so i thought it would be easy for people to just download some of the individual of bundle which they want.
    which give's them more reliability on bandwidth and time ....

    hope u guys understand my point ....

    In all fairness, on every item you should put at the top of the description that it is alreay here and what bundle it comes from, because you are still taking points from the person who originally uploaded it and has in most cases here purchased the bundle themselves.

    @KingSheh

    Agreed, the DL links can be broken out into multiple links, but not multiple downloads. A bundle is a bundle. Make your DL Link a mega.nz or mail.ru folder. If the goal is to truly limit what you have to download then that makes the most sense, members can then pick and choose what file(s), and know what size they are, prior to downloads.

    SO if anyone feels that posting a bundle as a multiple files instead of a single zip is what they need to do, then use Mega and generate the link from the folder. Allows users to make a single purchase.

    This thread shouldn't even be an argument, but can be a lesson so here, what a mega.nz multiple file link looks like:

    You can add pictures to the folders as well.

    Here is a sample link with a bunch of text files and Images that you can use to help pick your single files.
    https://mega.nz/#F!1DAjQTBJ!G2_lQSjxSaEhjhiNBWpnyg

    Even smaller groups can be broken out, especially when you have a 400MB dl, that 200MB DS and 200 mb Poser.

    So, i think that covers how to break bundles out to save users from downloading large files, and keep them bundled together in the single item as original.
