Honestly I'm glad I switched to AMD's Ryzen Platform, at the time I did it was when those 10th and 11th Gen Chips were out, and while I was on 7th Gen Intel, when upgrading I wanted to Avoid them at all costs as I didn't want to be on Ancient Architecture from 2014 that had been refreshed over and over, each time being pushed until the hardware reached it's absolute limit.
And it showed with near 100*c temperatures and sometimes over 300w of power draw. no thank you.
I thought when Intel released 12th and 13th gen, they had finally broke the cycle with new fresh architecture, turns out that 12th gen was merely a brief reprieve knowing now how screwed 13th & 14th gen Chips are.
I don't know what Intel will do now but I know AMD with take full advantage. So Until Intel finally get their shit together I will happily stick with AMD Ryzen for the Foreseeable future.
