@arthurgarcia Thank you for that shout-out. Yep. Them's is my sentiments too.
Kinda odd that most 3D sites put their trust in cloudflare through Arizona nonetheless.
oops. I've used my quota of (www.whois.sc) right when I google cloudflare's info.
BTW - Yes, I did get hanged up on by a call from Jamestown ND. How did you know?March 20, 2018 at 8:10 PM #5397723dZone was OK for awhile. But then they started mining. I wasn't having that. I abuse my PC enough as it is.
March 20, 2018 at 8:23 PM #539790Thank you @drgnmztr. I have only been a member for a few months but have known about it since November 2017. I've seen enough to know there are no other sites like it. I was quite talented in visual art and in music until I lost total use of my left (dominant) hand. @Arthurgarcia inspired me to try 3D art. Although he lacks confidence with any use of computers for other than education. I convinced him to consider "learning" 3D Art. This site is well structured enough to keep from getting distracted - most of the time.
Oh, I love your Jimi Hendrix. You can imagine an Hispanic person wearing a Jimi Hendrix in a predominantly Hispanic town the shade I would get.
"why don't you wear Santana?" Until he came to our town and held another sold-out concert wearing the same Jimi Hendrix shirt I would wear. Go figure.March 20, 2018 at 8:31 PM #539794@evilmonkey thanks for posting.
adfly is preferable to a site that mines any-day of the century. Doesn't bother me at all.March 20, 2018 at 8:39 PM #539800not sure if this has come up but,
gfxstuff.ru
Isnt bad.
some of the yandisk links suk though.
and as usual most stuff is ripped from here.
March 20, 2018 at 8:42 PM #539805@locololo I'M rolling here. Thats an awesome story. I grew up on Santana too. Thank you for sharing that. And thanks for your nod to my Jimi. I forgot to ad to my post, I'll ask Miarka if I can add to it, There's also a Jimi Statue right outside my art supply store in Seattle. So it kind of goes hand in hand with my piece.

March 20, 2018 at 10:28 PM #5399003dzone.link is up and running again.
March 20, 2018 at 10:57 PM #539927Looks like they removed the mining operations... for now.
March 20, 2018 at 11:35 PM #539965@vigamezboy, @darklordf, @drgnmztr thank you. 3dzone.link is back up. I'll eat my humble pie and take a break from these discussion boards. Please look out for eachother and thank you for the wonderful information and files. I'll be back but be quieter. Seems I get too worked up because of similar situations that actually happened in my life. Happy Arting and Sharing.
March 21, 2018 at 12:36 AM #540036@ the behest of my good friend and shipmate Jesse (Loco) I posed this question because he gets excited when things remind him of all his other ventures in life and on the internet. I'm guessing he is on a hiatus and will probably visit his family out West.
I thought I would word it as politely as possible. It's funny that zonegfx is not only back up, but like @drgnmztr said, without the minining operation. So perhaps there was some good in discussing the topic. Yes, all these sites are the same. But ZoneGFX is different and better. that is not just my opinion but very factual. Well, I've got to go and download some of those NLA files they are posting and from what I see they've got some Female Oriental Characters not yet on Zonegfx. Why there's Niko for v4 as we speak. Oh. Scratch that. She is NLA with Mega, too. I hope someone on ZoneGFX caught that file before it was removed. In the meantime I've got to get back to my other postings. Have a wonderful evening Europe and East Coast USA. Coming up online West Coast USA and Asia!!!March 21, 2018 at 3:06 AM #540152Zone is the best by far. I very much enjoy it here. I've never seen another site like this one at all. Yeah, we bitch at each other, but we're an actual community, interacting with each other and sharing more than just files.
March 21, 2018 at 11:30 AM #540457March 21, 2018 at 1:57 PM #540578I'm glad we all get along. If only life can mimic Art. Perhaps that's another thing that makes this site special.
March 21, 2018 at 5:45 PM #540827I didn't know about that website. So i decided to give it a quick look. But i quickly turned away immediatly after that.
I mean....it's cool and all that there is others site that share daz content. That's wonderfull!
But that website doesn't have any search feature!!!! (Well, after searching for one, i didn't see one. If there is one, is too well hidden.)
How are you supposed to find ANYTHING without a least a basic search fonction ?!?
I certainly don't have the time and patience to browse throught every page of product on this website to see if it got X or Y item in it.
It would be like going to Daz Store, not having the search field and telling us «There you go, here is all of ours product, have fun browsing over 400 pages of items!!!»Gheesh! >_<
