Has anyone else noticed this other site being down and does anyone else know how long that it has been down?

It is a concern. they've shut down 3 sites this year. 3 sites like this one that share files and such. with a bunch of holier-than-thou-hypocrites that act like they pay for each file they own. This is file-sharing at it's best. A bunch of talented individuals showing off their art and or sharing files they have either paid for or downloaded from "those other sites". You've heard of poetry @para. it's another form of Art for even more talented individuals that translate what they see and feel in to Art for everyone to understand. I can tell you that I've noticed that NONE of the files on this site are ACTUALLY created by @tootsie or @para or @Locololo. All we are doing is manipulating other person's actual art and/or digital creations. Of the nearly 300 files you are sharing, not one of them was actually written by @para or @tootsie. Of the 70 plus pages visible of your history since july 2017, i dont see any receipts of those files you post or you having the courage to say "I bought this one personally." That's what I like about this site. You can see what others are doing. Kind of like usernames pandorum on topgfx.com/info or username BBLK on dazposer.net or username triton27 on 3daxis.org.
One or all of those users are members on this site but are just taking files here and posting them on those sites that are being shut down.@arthurgarcia

Please accept my apologies for being a bit paranoid but the recent DDoS attacks and the similarities of files being share are all too familiar with the taking down of Napster and Kim Dotcom’s Megaupload site so I can see why @arthurharcia had the courage to sa what I’ve been noticing for the few months I’ve had the pleasure of being a member of and I’m sorry for railroading your post. And my indirect attack towards @para was uncalled for and unacceptable so to her I do apologize. To the other persons mentioned earlier you owe this site some points AND some files.
Thank you @tomsk for reminding me this site is about art and sharing. At the moment I can only bring insight and encouragementThat's a good question @D0gg0d I thought I heard something but don't remember.

@Locololo you always got my back but above all we must maintain our civility. That is why I was trying to be nonchalant on this matter here. You remember how you got kicked off of NSA-face-book for expecting them to give you the same privacy they enjoy. You adorable squid, you. But studio.geg at gmail dot com hasn't replied to me yet regarding 3dzone.link and how long they've been with cloudflare. As a simple google on www dot whois.sc reveals, they also have (had) cloudflare. Coincidence? Perhaps. But while you are on Zonefx.com just concentrate on the art so when and if they do come after this site, they'll look like the hypocritical bullies they are and public opinion will be swayed in our favor. I bet you just got another unknown caller.If sites like this did not exist, I would buy a had full of figures and mostly free obj files and random crap to render. Possibly 2 nice environments.
I now have tons of stuff I never use and tons of stuff I would have never purchased to begin with.
Since I have so much stuff now I can do most of what I could have never done paying by myself. Now that I have so much content I have purchased more products than I normally would have to go with all my other stuff.
Sites like this have promoted me buying. So belive it or not, this site is good for business. Those who never buy, still won't buy. Those that rarely buy will still rarely buy. Those that buy a lot and professionals will still buy.
There are maybe a few that would buy more if sites were not here but, I cant see them being enough to make a huge impact on sales.That is exactly as I suspect @d0gg0d. I have been inclined to purchase other software. I purchased Poser 11 Pro as an upgrade to a thriftstore find of poser 7SE. I've purchased a ton of Daz3d stuff and received even more as freebies. Sharecg has nice stuff and Renderosity and cgbytes and content paradise give much away as well. Reciprocity. Maybe my email is being blocked but I've contacted DYYS with no reply. I've contacted Renderotica with no reply. I've contacted Content Paradise with no reply. I've contacted 3dzone.link with no reply. However, when I go through this site or those other site's "contact" link, I get an immediate reply. I've found several NLA items that I plan on uploading to Megaupload this weekend. If you knew my non-internet life, you'd know why I hardly have time to participate in a more constructive manner - as you do @d0gg0d. But everything I have to offer up until now, has already been posted and everyone knows where they can find those other freebies. We have to keep The ZoneGFX lean.

Thank you @evilmonkey. I love that site. I just found it the other night. Although it appears to have been up since....March of 2017 it only started showing up in google and yahoo and bing just last week. My concern is their cloudflare relationship. I google cloudflare and N'essay and it usually draws suspicions when I see arstechnica and wired articles first. Kind of like seeing WikiLeaks and the intercept with realtime events often suspected as fake news. Now I'm sounding like my good friend @Locololo. Though, I do have hope for this site and other similar sites that they have Artistic professional courtesy and communicate with one another to keep 3D digital art apart form other digital media. That precedence to the artistic aspect trumps the mere coincidence that it is a shared file only because it's how it can only be shared at the moment.
