Ok, A recent post gave me this idea.

I think you can turn off Dforce by coloring an area.

So... If I were to color half of a pair of shorts, enlarge them a bit to big then run dforce, they would sag on one side giving the impression of being taken off.

I then could shrink the shorts back to normal fit.

You could also turn a character upside down run dforce and turn it back over.
it could look like they are removing a shirt.

Tons of stuff. tilt a character sidways to give the impression of wind blowing.

Of couse someone may have already done or thought if this but, i havent read it yet.

I haven't used dforce yet, but it sounds like you may be on to something there.

    🙂

I saw that same tutorial. Really helps understand how it works.

Also, you can add wind nodes. A little easier than turning characters upside down and sideways.

you can also composite morph using dforce in a few steps, dforce once
export to obj and import as morph, change settings and dforce again.
as for pulling clothes off if you simulate over a short animation you can get some interesting stuff, then save it as a morph or just render out the frame you want after adjusting the pose.
it's just a fine balance of settings, razors edge with exploding meshes on either side. hint: do not crank the wind nodes up too high when simulating hair without careful weight mapping (blew the characters hair basically right off)
