Renderhub just purged ALL adult content effective immediately! This is not a drill
The 'Assemblies of God', the Australian based, self appointed keepers of the worlds morality have scored a small victory as RenderHub knuckles under.
You can be sure others will follow. So who's going to step up and tell them to eff off? It's gonna be a fun fight.I just purchased the items in my wishlist. There was nothing really adult but I wasn't sure how wide the purge would go.
Here's a thought. How about if this place creates another site (NOT affiliated with this one) that has a variety of payment methods outside the regular banks (PayPal, CC's etc) and invites everyone to sell here. The regular sites don't have the guts to do it, let the pirates take the lead!
I just checked and ALL my downloads are still available (Jeez! I've bought a lot of stuff there!) but the associated images are gone. Only the thumbnails are still there.

Going by Renderhub forum it would seem none of the vendors were even warned this might happen (As usual).
sounds like RH might be going up for sale or something. any full purge of NSFW content is a known sign of a upcoming sale of the platform.
@blizzard2089 There’s an option to set the site to: SafeSite, Moderate, Mature or Strict if you want to see nips.
@scoobydude51- that wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. signs are there of it being similar to what happened to ShareCG.
let's just hope the OGs being back at Renderotica can restore the HRP so people can resume on that site. the admins over there said they don't plan to stop selling NSFW assets and not stop allowing adult renders. they are just trying to "PERUSE" the various HRPs currently still available, and see which will not be as expensive...

Renderotica has an interesting workaround for the payment processor conundrum, using their CGBytes shell company to call for and process the payments under generic token items, if memory serves. PayPal I think was handled through there as well.
It would just take a bit of paperwork to do similar here.

Unfortunately, the real OGs? Well, Diane (the original owner) is no longer among the living, and if memory servers, Jack is still MIA - has been for years. I have no clue who owns or is is running the site these days.
I read somewhere that when Civitai came under fire they made a sister site called CivitaiRed (or similar) and sold tokens that could be used on either site. A simple solution.
