So, I have never tried AI image art before, but thinking of trying some. Is there any offline AI image generator out there that generate good realistic photos? If so, how do they work?
There are heaps of online sites where you can generate images for free - just google for them.
If your system can handle it, I suggest you generate off-line by installing Forge/Flux.

So, I was not into AI before because of its output. I remember trying some a year ago (I think it was stable diffusion webai or Automatic1111), and the result was subpar. deformed hand, double image etc. And if you have two people in same picture, that's worst nightmare.
But recently I saw an AI image of similar project I was doing in DAZ, and the image looked amazing. In comparison, DAZ/Blender will take a lot of manual time and resources to achieve that. Hence giving it a new try.I've said it before (and often) but I still love playing with dolls. Dressing my girls, choosing a space, adding toys-creatures-aliens-whathaveyou is great fun. Posing is a hoot too! I will be fiddling with AI, but the experience of creating...no massaging a scene is still a wonderful experience that I'll never tire of.
Oh, I understand. I feel like I have more control over the image with DAZ than AI. It's just with AI I can get better image quality without having hundred of GBs of resources and spending less of my time. Now if I can find a way to have more than one person in a picture without meshing them together, that would be awesome.
Another wish I've made all too often is for an AI powered renderer. If I could get 95% of the quality in 5% of the time and with the CPU doing the work, I'd pee my little panties.

The link should lead you to help with your addiction. It will only get worse the more you do it. My age and responsibilities have gimped my addiction somewhat and Ive mostly overcome it. I will still have occasional lapses but have it mostly under control now.

I have lots of addictions but I don't see them as a problem. On the contrary they give me direction and a sense of purpose.@ADAM AI is not a mental illness. It is the way of the future as ordained by our electronic overlords!
