Does anyone know of anything similar to this backpack that has weapons on it (preferably rifles) for Genesis 8 or Genesis 9?
Yes, that's really the best option. You should check the backpacks that come with "The Last Of Us" Models. They are just perfect for survivalists.
You can always use that exact backpack and kitbash it onto G8 or G9... just put your figure in a default pose, position the backpack on it, then parent the backpack onto the Upper Chest bone.
(I do this with hair by just parenting it to the head, because toon heads are big, which almost always distorts conformed hair around the neck.)
