Yep it's sad. So does this mean you're going to start a new one? I'll add 10,000pts to the pool.
Once I decide to get some points I may start one. Ive been slacking and have less than 2k.
You could run a Noir competition.
I don't think either of us we will goad each other into running a comp. and @Lapucelle has been MIA for months. Who should we entice? @Abad would be "interesting"😠.

Obviously not everyone is interested in creating Lovecraftian Renders... MONSTERS EEEEK! How bout we do two comps like last time and have two different Themes. Lovecraft for those of you who are into HORROR, and maybe Good Old Summertime for those with a lighter heart! ???
I can talk to Warrant, not sure we can do the same thing again, may need to have help 🙂
Warrant carried me through the last comp because I had NO idea what to do. It turned out pretty good I think, not because of me, but because of his hard work with all the scripting and stuff. He's amazing.
I was just thinking about this, and lo and behold, ADAM beat me to it. 🙂 🙂 Yay ADAM!
It will all depend on how busy Warrant is... we'll let you know. 🙂

NinianeThat would be fantastic @Ninianed! I have a feeling that Lovecraft would lend itself to AI-made images as there's not much Daz stuff for that, and that style doesn't particularly attract me to be honest. Good Old Summertime would be a great idea for the second theme and more flexible, though it's mid-winter here.
Relatively new here, Willing to help out as needed,
Just a few questions as to how this will work,
1:Restricted to daz only renders?
2.Or Daz only assets but can be used in another 3D application?
3. Or a mixture of Daz assets and external ones rendered in another 3d Program e.g. Blender, UE etc.
4. AI or no AI, my feelings personally no AI,or a seperate category for AI.Can throw 10,000 pts into the prize Pot

Why not just use a style Like Black and White or stylized or photorealistic then just let entrees choose their own Genre within the style
I am free to help out after the end of next week, once I have finished this current project for an Ad agency.
Hey guys. Warrant and I will be doing this again (and anyone who wants to help...) First we need to decide on the themes. There should be two themes, each should have an AI category, and a Daz/Poser/Blender, Max, etc. category. It really doesn't matter how you render it, but using assests from the Blog would be nice. 🙂
So far we have as suggestions:
Lovecraftian (Horror)
Good Ole Summertime (Historical/Regency/Baroque Era,etc.)
Day at the Beach (Contemporary or Pinup/50's, etc.)
One Fine Day (Contemporary Or Imaginary)
Once Upon a Time (Fantasy)
Four Seasons (Frank said it's winter there... 😛 This could work)Not everyone likes horror, not everyone likes fantasy, not everyone likes historical. I know this. 🙂 But we need to decide which is the most likely accepted themes, and then we will give you the rundown on the rules and Warrant will set up the Donation Request like last time. 🙂
I also liked Tincz suggestion of the type rather than theme... will discuss this with Warrant. 🙂

I can help, but please clarify the theme and the descriptions first (like down below - from the last one) and after that, we can put a prize pot post up and come up with the dates 🙂
IMO you guys must include an AI category too, so please keep in mind, that if you want 1x theme, then that will be 2x categories (DAZ and AI) and the prize pot will be split into two. And if you want 2x themes, that will be 4x categories and a 4-way split."CHRISTMAS FAR AWAY FROM HOME":

DESCRIPTION OF THE THEME:
This is a pretty wide topic, so your art needs to depict any positive, heartwarming, cheerful, and/or celebratory event, activity, etc. from any time period. BUT it has to include at least ONE ANIMAL OR ONE ANY OTHER CREATURE (WHICH IS NOT HUMAN)!
(You can add any amount of humans to your art, but 1x Animal or 1x Other Creature - for example, a cat or an alien or a nice parasite who would like to hug you - is MANDATORY!)
