March 29, 2024 at 6:59 PM #2067206Always Google (DuckDuckgo is better because you get fresh results with each search and there's no tracking).
No one tutorial will cover everything properly, watch lots of them and save the best ones.March 29, 2024 at 9:36 PM #2067236That morph was very likely done using ZBrush or Blender, so you need to know your way around with these apps.
Just for fun I tried this with M3RR in Poser 11 using the Morphbrush, and this is what I got after about 20 minutes:
It pretty much still sucks, but if I mess around for another hour or so, I guess I could get quite close to the image you'd shown.
Perhaps I should use the DAZ Eagle as a pattern and simply copy / adapt that shape. But I usually don't do such "drastic" morphs, and ZBrush or Blender are infinitely more powerfull than the lil' ol' MorphBrush.
So, if you really want to get creative, I'd say you ned to learn those apps, first.

And yeah, especially DAZ and their PA's are notoriously tight lipped about HOW to actually DO these kind of things.
March 30, 2024 at 10:44 PM #2067457Most of these types of conversions I do within Daz Studio and Poser. For texture conversions I use Ultimate Unwrap3D Pro. That's it. Now that HD morphs have been "unlocked", sort of, I might be incorporating ZBrush into the mix. I do need to get more comfortable using Blender, lol.
Here is a quicky I threw together.
It is Lahr for Genesis 9 converted to Genesis 1. The G1 version is just the base shape at base resolution, so it looks a little janky. The ears still need smoothing...the mouth and eyes need attention...the starting shape needs to be more aligned with the Genesis 1 starting pose and the rest of the textures need to be converted.
If there is interest, I can throw together a tutorial of my process. I have never believed in hoarding information.
