the new request system is good but what do you do when something gets "filled" and you would like to get that item. With the old system you could message the member who uploaded the item but now how do you do this? sometimes an item is "filled" before i get a chance to offer points. i'd like to get the Biotech Research Lab but would rather not wait two weeks before it gets posted...

Just start a new request with the amount of points you would of pledged. It'll get filled.

@5200north If the filler chooses to post the item on the blog during the fill you will see the name of the user (at the blog post) and you can PM them, but if there is no blog post, then the filler went for the Anonymous path (this is why you can't see the Filler's name on the requests).
    They want to be Anons.

The fastest way is to copy the picture's link, description etc from the filled request into a new one, but please make sure to search the blog first. If the requested item is already on the blog (even in the upcoming section), then it's not allowed to request it - it would lead to dupes.

We are still trying to work out this with a new function but we didn't have much time for the dev part recently :/

Wise words Mr Warrant. Personally I've had about an 80% success rate just PMing the filler and offering the standard points (500 -1000). In general people here are happy to fill PM requests, but abide by caveats such as not sharing on other sites or trust will be lost.

In the current environment (render Hub, banning from sites, hidden embedded files)
is it not understandable why certain members wish anonymity.
As paranoia increases (deserved or not) so does caution.
Also I have observed timing and speed have become more important with
filling requests and posting points for request.
