So I've recently installed my 2500th asset (all via dim) and noticed that even searching for some assets is really breaking my back unless i know the exact keyword. Starting to feel i should've gone the manual route, atleast i could've customized it under different categories. Now it's all just a jumbled mess.
This is why a lot of people manually install content. Smart content was invented by Daz to fix a problem they made for themselves, ie. allowing creators to nest their files in multiple folders without any standardised file structure/naming. Hence the "a jumbled mess" you describe.
yeah, took me a while to realize it. I had a smaller library so it helped much that time, but as my library grew so did the time to look for them and now, it's become such a chore
