    Usually the Clothing Converter by Sickleyield and Riversoft art works like a charm for me; except when it comes to some V4 and M4 assets. While some of them are easily converted to Genesis 8, others refuse to cooperate, no matter what I do. When I run the script, it appears to be converting as normal - if somewhat quicker than usual, yet when it finishes I get the message that reads something like ''execution completed for 0 item''.

    I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem when converting V4/M4 clothing to G8 and if so, how to fix it. Or, failing that, does anyone know of any other way to convert the clothing?

    That usually means the item has issues preventing conversion, or is miscategorized causing the script to skip it. There is a force conversion check box of most of RSSY's converters. Try checking that box and see if that hjelps handle the miscreat items.

    SDL.

    @shadowdemonlord I've tried force converting it to no avail; even though the trousers in the clothing folder converts no problem.

    There is always the old way: Use the clothes in Genesis 1, save as 1.duf. Use 1.duf in Genesis 2, save as 2.duf. Use 2.duf in Genesis 3, save as 3.duf. And, use 3.duf in Genesis 8, and save a 8.duf.
    Tedious and boring, but if some clothes won't be manipulated by the script, there will be no other choice...

    @abad Thanks for the tip; I'll try it. 🙂

    @Abad
    Is it really necessary to save and re-load?
    I just fit the article of clothing to a model
    then un-parent the clothing
    delete the model
    merge the next model up the line
    rinse and repeat
    the end product is a scene with just the clothing
    and then you just merge and fit to the model
    am i missing something?

    @gremmie, maybe it is possible... When I did that, I preferred to play it safe. The V4/M4 suits came with many separate pieces, so I kept them as subsets.... Now that I work with CAD/CAM, I keep even a screw in triplicate! 😀

    Thanks for getting back to me.
