    Hello,
I may have made a post in the past and if I did please forgive me. I am interested in the program Character Creator. I am not sure if ICLONE is required to use the program if so ICLONE also. I will be using the program for still images only because I have no idea how to do animation and only use Daz Studio for creating comics. I like the look of Character Creator 4 but it looks too hard to navigate and ICLONE looks very hard. One of my main concerns is how to render within the programs. Is the render program within the software or is another program required that needs to be purchased? Another is can I take my whole scene from Daz Studio and export it into Character Creator 4 and render it? I know that there is a method for exporting from Character Creator 4 to Blender, Unity, or Unreal engine but I have no knowledge of either program.

    Hello Tony,
Both programs look very complicated and were wondering if anyone could share some of their knowledge on getting started with the programs.

I don't have any answers for you Mel but I have questions as well that could turn out to be of interest for both of us if answered. I never used the programs before but Reallusion has tutorials that seem like they would help a lot. However I can't get either of those programs to work. CC4 opens fine but using the same exact procedure as shown in the tutorial, trying to adjust the figure does nothing. The iclone 8.2 just installed cannot be used unless I find a way to dismiss the content managers insistence to connect and sync content which I can't do. I'm a bit frustrated with it and while it seems a bit overwhelming, I'm sure that with watching tutorials and practice anyone with the will can learn it as long as the program functions as it should.

I believe also the tutorials should help but are a bit confusing. In my opinion, the best method would see someone using the programs to learn how to use them effectively. I would like to have a pretty good grasp on the program before I spend the amount of money to get them.
