Xoraia is performing a conjuration spell. What might she be summoning?
Still a WIP, but thought I’d share what’s been done so far and to get some feedback.
Updates
Feb 24, 2023: Fixed camera and poses.
Feb 23, 2023: Changed pose and camera slightly, tried to address aspect issue with her coming in too long in the original. Combination of her heeled boots made her real stretchy. Will make additional tweaks. Forgot to adjust the fog and dof with the latest render.
(I would change her lips -frown / tighten /something)
She is conjuring a golem to fight the fiend that killed her true love.@Lapucelle haha! good guess/try, but going to keep it a surprise till I get the next composition up and running! Her expression will make more sense then 😉
Next competition?? That would be great. I just hope her spell isn't Avada Kedavra 😵.
BTW, your picture still looks squashed horizontally.
@frank22 nah, these aren’t for any competition. Going to be a series I’ll be working on.
And yes, you’re right, just looked at the pic on my phone and it is off again!!! I’ll fix it tomorrow. Lollll!

@d0gg0d Surprisingly, you're very close!!! ;DUpdated image to address scale. I think there's an issue with the aspect of my monitor as well as the combination of her heels are making her look very tall.
Updated. Turns out my camera was distorting the figure. Adjusted, should now show better.
If there's no other feedback, I'll work on the next piece for next week 😀
@Littlepleasures great feedback! Yes, I used emissives on the sphere on the rod as well as the energy orb, and its the one thing I'm definitely not very happy about - spot on about the highlights being overblown - the sphere in the rod for instance actually has this cloudy effect but it’s been whiteout from the emissive.
I just wasn't sure how else to give it an aura-like effect - energy emitting, etc... I'm going to try to use the point light method you suggested as well as doing two separate renders, with/without the orbs.
