Yo! Its been a couple of years since I rendered anything, lost my entire library and most of my skills but glad to be back. Let me know what you guys think of my first effort for this new era?

February 15, 2023 at 7:43 AM #1927711Welcome Back.
Only 2 "bad" things Id say are its covered in white noise. That takes away from the shadows. I thought it may be fog but it still detracts from the image.
Second is her makeup look more geared towards going out on a date than taking out bad guys.Other than that think its great.
February 15, 2023 at 7:44 AM #1927712well done, nice compositon and render
February 15, 2023 at 8:24 AM #1927742Thanks for the feedback people! Appreciate it.
Agree on the noise, still playing with fog - one day I'll get it right (maybe). The makeup was a choice though (hence the 'social club' part of the title). Who says you can't put on an attractive face whilst firing large calibre weapons at people? 🙂

Thanks for the infos bud. I see you mentioning the fog and I thought of these assets:
background with this:
Foreground with this at the feet or knee level:
Perhaps moon light casting a shadow across half the face from one of the pillars. Just a thought.
March 7, 2023 at 9:51 AM #1937412Good stuff,
Looking through gun sights one usually has a squint in the sighting eye.
The other eye partially closed depending on ambient lighting and sight illumination.
Backdrop looks washed out a little.
Nice render 🙂 -
