I am working on a children's book about Hippity who lives with his grandma. Here are a couple scenes. Let me know if looks good enough for preschool to second grade-ish? Thanks so much!

No idea what most kids like at that age.
My Grandson is 7 and likes Batman, Spider-Man and dinosaurs.
If I remember correctly my granddaughter was into princes stuff and the trolls movie.

I'd read it. Looks like better quality than some books I've seen published.

My 1 year old has books with what appears to be public domain clip art off Google.

The background is amazing. Overall I like the composition.

That said, the skin tone of the Hippity-Hoppities are too cartoonish. You made an environment that is natural and realistic-looking. The environment is fantasy, but feels real because of the color choices. The Frogs feel out of place.

Make the frog colors match their environment.

Alternatively, make the environment more animated and comic-book -- saturated and bright.

EDIT: Also, I'm not a fan of hair on amphibians. Make the older frogs skin sag and change their posture, but don't give them head-hair. Just my opinion. 🙂

O that looks awesome. I can imagine that well me as a child. Grandma is the best and looks sweet and and knows where it goes.
I like this velvet dream fairy tale world.
You should ask the young kids themselves what they think of it. Then you will get an objective answer to your question.

I did the same thing when I created a fairy tale book. I just showed the children different Renders ...and voilà....It really made a difference.

I wish you good luck with your new project.
