I've had some ideas that could possibly be useful. These mostly relate to request threads.
1) When writing on a thread, it would be useful to be able to call the attention of everyone that posted in a specific thread.
For example, for requests threads, sometimes a user decides to post an item on the blog instead of sending pms. Being able to notify everyone that made a request for such item in a thread with a simple command would quickly make sure that everyone interested is aware of that.
IDEA: @all or @thread or something like that.
2) Points widget. This could be something that could be embedded in PMs, so that, when fulfilling items from a request, the provider doesn't have to chase down people to get the promised points, nor need an excel document to keep track of who owns what.
The points are transferred automatically to the person that created the link as soon as the person pays the points.
Of course, the points need to be editable, so that the sender can ask the promised amount.
Biggest issue is the occasional ones that promise points then refuse to send or make contact after they have had the link.
Not a frequent occurence - but it happens [you know who you are...]
Be nice to be able to receive points automatically when a link is sent.
Ah well... wish in one hand... 🙂Another wish I have would be better checks on what is being posted, so that free products are not posted as paid ones for example
Any system, at any level, is only as good as the folk using it.
If you have people abusing the system, there are some that always do, it is better if the system is kept as simple as possible, so those that intend well can play their part easier & it will be easier to administer.
@fuzzy3000 Yes, non-payment is an issue with a small minority of members.
Guess the only way to overcome this non payment issue will be to have a request system other than the forum and earmark points from anyone requesting there.. those earmarked points cannot be reused anywhere and will be paid automatically once the link is given there..
..we can always dream 🙂Or, once thread indicates link is available, you get the points then send the link as they come in.
Of course that flies in the face of those of us that never miss a payment....
I like the idea of the points to reveal the link, only draw back is more keyboard work for the provider to send out multiple emails with the different amounts, but not hat much more than harvesting the IDs form the post. Also might help in cutting down on the reply all messages when a product is sent. I log in and get all excited that I have 4 or 5 messages only to find it's 5 responses of "points sent"...

That would eliminate the people who grab the link and
never pay even though they are on the site everyday
dl'ing everything off the blog 😕 Also eliminate
people requesting everything and don't even have points
to pay for one item 🥴 Then there are the people who
get daily points for signing in and request every item
but never pay anyone or dl anything from the blog hmmm
With the site on the blink its tiring to fill
a request then you have to chase down people for
their promised points.. I won't do it! I used to give
people a second chance and send them a friendly
reminder but now they go straight on my s**t list...
And that list is growing 😉I'm pretty new so I don't know how much my opinion counts but I think speeding up the site and optimizing it to work better should take priority over anything new. Once that happens, this is a great idea.

the zone used to be very fast, something happened and sometimes even just to send points it stays there loading loading loading and i am not sure if the points are sent or not. Sometimes I click multiple times for it to move, pretty sure somehow i will double pay someone ^^.
I don't have particular issues with non paying members but any improvement after stability/speed is welcome.
