True jr96. I've sent lots of double PMs because they take so long to appear. Haven't done it myself but I've also seen double points transferred due to the same slowness issue. After the complete off-line we had a few months back things have never gone back to the way they were.

- Make a link to the CONTEST section.
- Do people use the GROUPS? If not, are they needed?
- REQUIRE more fields to be mandatory when posting an item so in the future at the very least you can look at items sorted by generation.
- Double the current cost to purchase a Bundle. A Bundle should cost a lot more than it does now.
- If we are talking creating a new site... totally delete the 'Dead Post' file and start fresh. Probably 3/4 of that stuff is G1 and G2 anyway. Let the past die. Kill it,if you have to. Only then will you be strong enough with the dark side to... oops... blacked out there a moment... what was I saying? Oh yes, a little Spring Cleaning would be ever so nice.That's my 2 cents, hope it's helpful.
I would like to see such a "GET LINK 500 PTS" in all requests threads, and have the request stay open after it was filled, for 3 reasons:
Time, Hard drive space and availability. If you're a regular to requests you will understand why.
That would work against the intended public nature of the site.
The intent is that the request section is for early sharing, with the items being subsequently posted to the blog.
That doesn't happen as quickly or often as it should and used to.I know that all too well @Eelgoo. Requests and blog posts don't go hand in hand. Thanks to everybody that post the stuff they fill. The best thing with the current system is that it gives a small incentive for newbies to participate and fill requests too, a few people can't fill everything, and keeping it from the blog means you have to get involved in requests, but it takes so much time and space to keep up with everything.
A request filled today with 20 people in it aren't likely to be filled 3 months from now when it's just you and me in it 🙂 If the filler leaves or are absent for a long time, nobody's gonna jump to post it to the blog. And nor will you get a response to your pm asking for a link.

That has been in the rules for years.
Anyone can post an item after a period of grace.Respectfully, I'm still waiting to see anyone actually taking real action in posting filled requests to the blog after the period of grace.
It's obvious why and you know this mate. That person will get shitlisted and won't receive another requested link. He / she would get away with it for a while, and then find he shared a tagged file. Crusader goes up in flames.
Stuff going to the blog is a good thing. I used to think shares spreading to other sites were a bad thing, not so much anymore. Some other sites are still plain leeching - those that have paid file hosts behind the links - or is it that plain? They put in time and pay for the hosting of the website and storage.
But other sites do count as user friendly backups. Someone here pointed that out to me, I don't remember who it was, but thanks for that.
See most links here, whether requests or blog posts are on MEGA, those accounts have to be logged in every few months to keep the account active and hence the links alive. Besides that, weren't MEGA a different service years ago that got shutdown. Some other sites have their own links on various free file hosts, even Google drive. Will prove very helpful if your hdd crash, or you can send a couple hundred pms asking for links.
Or why not just buy it, it's not like we're on a pirate site in the first place. Wish I had that much gold. Not everyone can afford high speed Internet or to keep a file host subscription going.
I don't believe people keep requests from the blog to mainly get more points, I think it is to engage more users to actually buy stuff. Rightfully so, I want that too, but what about people that just straight up post to the blog? Sharing freely. Collecting is a fun hobby, sure. I'd rather render than collect.
