    Hi there,

I am trying to rectify an issue that I have with the morph transfer utility.

Whilst I can get the morphs I require transferred to a target item, I am getting an issue which I suppose you might term crosstalk.

The morph type in question is a dynamic one to raise the front of a garment.
It works fine on the original source item without any issue.
When transferred, the target item will raise the front of the body of the garment ok, but unfortunate always seems to cross talk to the sleeves which move up the Y axis, distort & tear.
I hope there is a tick box which will prevent this, but I have yet to find the right one.

Does anyone have the solution to this irritating issue, please?

I suppose they're not completely identical mesh, that's why it meshed up the vertex order, hence the issue occurs. Solution: send me the OBJ files, I'll see what I can do.

    Thanks for the offer.
    It is really appreciated.
What I am really looking for is to get the correct settings on the morph transfer utility so I can use them going forward for numerous applications.

It is odd that the morph doesn't effect the arms of the garment of the original application, but invariably does on any garment I transfer the morph to.

What I will do is upload the original item, one I have unsuccessfully transferred the morph to & also the original target item.

    🙂

@eelgoo Could you indicate which garmet you are manipulating? Have you tried to use it in Marvelous Designer and see if it obeys the dynamics of the morph/obj in an animation with an arm movement and body turns? In a program like Rhino (Although if you've never used it, forget it...) or the free MeshLab you can analyze if there is any gap between the quads or triangles, or, as Sabrina points out, any normal or vertex that "has been distracted going to the beach and having a daiquiri.." 😀

Sounds like a topology problem. Try a simple "retopo".

    OK Thanks for the input.
I have never done any 3D modelling.
As I suspected, it isn't as simple as I was hoping.
Sabrina is going to be looking into the issue for me.
    🙂
