Took me a sec to figure out what was going on.
The hair doesnt look like its effected by gravity.
The underlying story is the kid has a learning disability that was overlooked by the school system and had been systematically beaten for years. The next render will be mom tied to a bed soaked in gasoline and the kid holding a lit match.
Good point Adam I will work on the hair. @Lucafeelgood there is some trickery with the lighting. I used a ghost light on the counter to act as a bounce and light the face
Nice work and I like images when you have to dig a bit (aka think) to gather what's going on.
When I went to primary school I was caned every Friday for getting 10+ spelling mistakes in dictation, and quite a bit in high school too. My parents never hit me though. .Its a touchy subject. My dad beat my ass if I was bad. Today you might get locked up. Some kids just need a decent ass whipping. I dont think I would do it over a poor grade though.
Got to admit it makes a more interesting story than the kid going back to school and making a B
