This might have already been brought up but I tried searching and the list for 8.1 is EXTENSIVE.. so sorry if said topic is among the pages of numerous posts.
I'm not sure about Gn 8.1 males but Gn 8.1 females are definitely adding parameter values to characters I have created, after saving and reloading them.
I'm sure I can't be the only person with this problem. Does anyone know of a possible fix to said problem?
Please help and thank you.
August 12, 2021 at 8:04 PM #1720004Right now I can't grab any ss. I don't know for certain if it is a scene load and / or a scene subset load. I do use both depending on my needs.
I do know that some characters will add numerous morphs but a couple in particular that really seem to persist are the youth morph for Gen8 characters. So, Growing up by Zev0 or whatever it's called?
I would have to load up the characters in question on this so I'll get back to you. It doesn't seem to happen to all the characters all the time and it is completely random.
At first I thought I might have accidentally changed my base model but that doesn't seem to be the case for either Gen 8 or 8.1. Both load up normally as a zeroed character with no additional morphs.
I'll post more info (screenies/etc) when I'm allotted the time.
Thanks for the concern!

Original:
After reloading:These are just some of the morphs that adjust after reload. The ones with locks on them are the morphs that a dialed in and tried to LOCK in place. Though not even that will stop the morphs from dialing to other parameters. (Except youth shaped narrow which i adjusted, not realizing i was trying demonstrate my point across to you :P)
These are just a few of the morphs which auto-dial to whatever they feel like it. Sometimes I get totally different character morphs which pop-up at 100% for no reason.
Now that you asked if it was with full scene saves or with scene subsets.. I'm starting to think it was only scene subsets. That's a real shame considering it takes like 30 minutes for daz studio to "ERASE A SCENE" when loading up a new full scene, even when I open daz studio for the first time. I won't get into that though.
So i guess my 'safest' bet at this point is to stop using subsets?
August 12, 2021 at 9:33 PM #1720013I had a similar problem. It was isolated to only one scene subset. When the character is dialled the way you want, save it as a shape preset, a material preset, and a wearables preset.
Open up a new scene. Add a base figure. Apply the 3 presets above. Resave as scene-subset.
Test if the problem is solved.
August 12, 2021 at 9:43 PM #1720017I'll look into that later, Dick. Thanks for the advice.
