Daz does have 2 some good sales going on Amber but the other stores are like everything on sale pretty much 🙂
Yeah, 50% off at Renderosity until the 30th and there's a coupon for 15% off until 31st in the newsletter from the 28th.
I just bought a bunch of stuff that's been on my wishlist for a while.
Thanks for the 15% coupon tip. Most products don't accept the coupon stacking but a couple in my cart do so I was able to save an extra couple of bucks.
I hope this massive 50% Rendo discount on everything isn't a sign they're cleaning out to close down, like RDNA and Hivewire did. DAZ's market control is big enough as it is.
Yeah, they're advertising it as their semi-annual sale. Considering that Hivewire and some others moved to Rendo, I can't imagine it's shutting down any time soon.
I've noticed they ALL seem to be going down hill I can't remember the last time I've seen something that has come out and said to myself I need that, I might want it but need .. or maybe it's just me getting bored/tired of doing this.
There are a lot of Daz relevant products at 'Rosity, despite them flogging a dead horse with the Poser stuff.
I probably buy 60% from 'Rosity
30% from Renderhub & 10% from Daz.🙂
Their content is almost exclusively for Studio and there’s less all the time.
I got bored one day and did a rough count in the Rendo freebie section, which I consider to be one of the best ways to count community involvement. It was something like one or two Poser specific freebies for every 25-30 DAZ Studio ones, with a dozen or so 2D background freebies and other stuff.
Sad to hear about R'otica, though. Diane always knew how to run a server and not interfere with a good income stream. Not so sure about the new guys.
