Just a heads up for the lucky few of us who managed to get an RTX 3000 series GPU, there is a new public build of Daz that supports Ampere. From early benches, it looks like the 3080 is about 3-4x the speed of a 2080Ti or RTX Titan in render time. Coming from a 1080Ti, it's a massive leap - you can get a good preview basically instantaneously vs having to wait a minute or more.

It'll be sometime next year before I can get my hands on one but I'm still pumped to start seeing benchmarks and reviews for how it handles Daz.

Also, your subject line made me think that all Daz models would automatically be sporting bush from now on. 😉

Well, it looks as if my new desktop build is going to have to wait until I return to the UK permanently - which now looks like it will be early '22.
Who knows what developments will have taken place with the 3000's series or DS by then [???]
Just keep punching away on the laptop 'til then, I guess... 🙂

    And...the same problem.
Daz is free, as is its technical support: None.
In Daz 4.12 loading a simple genesis 8 female takes about 3-4 minutes. In Daz 4.10, just seconds ...
Does it need to be updated? Just because of the Iray drivers? ...
Iray is absolute shit. Nothing else. Slow, obsolete, deprecated, stupid, complicated to make materials, etc ...
On top of that, PAs are inept when it comes to offering a reasonable product. NI compress, and with textures of about 23 MB ... To hell, already. I DO NOT want to try it ...
