hey i noticed STZ Bike was re-posted by globalrecession2009 and my post of it is missing now , why is that ? mine was put on i do believe in 2017 , not that it really matters just curious.
October 5, 2020 at 1:59 PM #1633259I noticed that because I got the bike in February. I kept a record of what I downloaded, and your old Mega link is dead - I assume globalrecession provided a new one?
October 5, 2020 at 2:14 PM #1633265no one notified me the link was dead that's the first thing that is suppose to happen so the poster can fix the link.
October 5, 2020 at 5:20 PM #1633284@coolcat I find this to be very peculiar as well because I search the site twice (by name and then by SKU) for everything I upload, and I have had an active upload for STZ Bike for months (since February) which did not exist as a site-post at the time of my uploading. Two weeks ago, I was notified of needing to fix the download link, so I did that, and @monkseye thanked me and updated the site-post. Now my site-post for it is also gone without explanation, and he's also made more site-posts himself without having answered me yet.
@tomsk
Edit: Monk messaged me back and reinstated my site-post.
October 6, 2020 at 9:02 AM #1633412@dazlover95 this is not the first time this has happened to me and it makes me wonder what's going on here when stuff is getting taken down and other ppl are re-posting it with out first contacting the original poster , i use Mega and it shows when they pull a link for violation reasons.
October 6, 2020 at 11:49 AM #1633461@coolcat I don't know what to tell you as I don't have any explanation for that. I'm not sure how I could've known that you had a site-post here much less know to contact you concerning the asset in question before I even joined the website as I've only been here since December, and there was no site-post for STZ Bike when I searched for and subsequently made one.
All I can say is that the explanation given to me for my own aforementioned case is that Monk thinks that he forgot to remove the "bad post" mark from my site-post. I'm assuming that means that it was therefore removed by some automated system in place.
