Rendered this in Daz3d, using the Octane Live render engine.
Did two different sets of renders. One with the built-in IRay render engine, and one with the Octane Live engine.
Did NOT include any skydomes, lights, or ANYTHING. However, Octane Live DOES have environmental presets that it will use, Hence the sky and sea look to the image. Daz basically rendered it against a black background.
    Times for render:
    using a gtx-1080ti: Render size is 1600 x 900
    Daz3d IRay: 2 minutes+
    Octane Live: 38 seconds

Suggestions for anyone else considering using the free Octane Live render system for Daz3d...
Turn OFF the plugin from the octane main tab before setting up your scene, to prevent you from getting "stopped cold" in your creative flow by octane updating the textures everytime you add or change anything. Then once you have your scene built the way you like it, turn on the plugin again, and let it update the octane textures for your scene before you attempt to render in Octane.

    Edward 8 "https://zonegfx.com/edward-8-pro-bundle/"
G8M Retro Aviator (included as part of "https://zonegfx.com/ollie-8-pro-bundle/")
(Took off the flight helmet and scarf for this render, since this was the best pilot outfit I could find in my assets to do the job. Not happy, as it's NOT from the correct time period, but hey, ya can't see him much anyways. lol)

The glass is too clear in the octane one, like it is not there. Is that from the conversion?
Iray has a skydome as well by default. It is just turned off from being rendered in the background. But it is providing HDRI, as you can see the reflections of the clouds in the glass. You can also see the reflection of the ground in this HDRI, too. It is the old Ruins-500 HDRI that Daz has had since Iray started.

That would also explain the time difference, because Iray is doing more work than octane because of these reflections on the glass. So to make a more fair battle, you can turn the dome completely off in the settings (draw scene only). However, that might mean no light at all, so that might not work. You could use the same HDRI in both renders.

If you choose to render to png and the environment off it will render with a transparent background, so you can use photoshop to pop it into any other pic.

@legolas18 I'm not a photoshop kinda girl. lol I use gimp. But I take your point.
I redid it with an actual environment included ("https://zonegfx.com/pw-bikini-islands/") and other than the tiling of the water being VERY obvious, it looks better in the IRay render. Also, Octane crashed daz when it tried to render it. Was saying that it would take something like 18 hours, then *BANG!* crashed. BTW, the IRay render of the one that crashed Ocane took 40 minutes. lol

Oh, and just as an aside... I LOVE MY GTX-1080TI... Compared to the GTX-750ti I was using, this thing simply flies through a render... plus all that additional memory... Mmmmm, almost better than a plate of Oreo cookies and a big mug of milk to dip em in...

Ok, so I shut down Octane, rendered this with no visible Skydome or ground, but set my selected background as the skydome's Source image. Took less than 1 minute to render. saved as a png, jumped to gimp, size matched my background to my rendered image, pasted the pmg render over the jpg background, merged and VOILA! I think this is the best one yet, and I'm actually kinda happy with it! Let me know what you all think!

Another new version of this using IRay to render. Added a second Corsair, and changed the angle a little, so I like this even better now!
