I'm a little un sure if this is the correct place or even kosha
sorry if I screwed up, not about blame or figuer pointingjust a little concerned, two things
I buy my points as I'm late in the game an feel what I have is up here already
and I ask myself is it kosha to upload and gain points on repeat uploads, my thought NOSo having looked at downloading the three items linked I find they are .exe files, NOT use to Daz stuff as an exe and I find that some of the downloads are encrypted and require a key
150 points is not a lot to most of you BUT that said for me, with the exchange rate and the local tax it's double the price almost, still not a biggy I guessQuestion is do you want users getting pissy cause there are people uploading gaining points for doing so and locking downloaders that pay one way or another for point out of the download files AFTER having their points removed.
If nobody knows it happening they do now. This post is for others' awareness, where it goes from here I have no clue.
Roxana Yaroslavna, Vampire Lady for V4 (OLD DAZ PRODUCT IN EXE FORMAT)
LINKS REMOVED (mod)
Asesina for V4/A4 (OLD DAZ PRODUCT IN EXE FORMAT)
LINKS REMOVED (mod)
Forsaken Queens for Roxana (OLD DAZ PRODUCT IN EXE FORMAT)
LINKS REMOVED (mod)
Again sorry if I screwed up.
July 17, 2020 at 5:58 AM #1615200An old Poser .exe file should be fine to use in Poser or DS once you extract it and put the files in the right directories. You will need to change the shaders if you want to use old Poser stuff in DS.
As for password encrypted MEGA files I think they wouldn't be allowed under the site TOS. Report them if they are.July 17, 2020 at 6:18 AM #1615201To clarify using Poser stuff in DS.
Make a folder on your HD (or external drive) and set up a Poser folder structure - Runtime/Geometries, libraries/props, textures, etc. In DS add that Runtime Directory under Poser Formats linking it to that directory. There's no reason you can't use Poser products in DS without having Poser installed.July 17, 2020 at 8:04 AM #1615204Firstly, you should NOT LIST OTHER PEOPLE'S SHARE LINKS PUBLICLY...
I understand your need to show us to ask your question but you are now sharing someone's personal share data with the entire community, which will cost that person points.
That being said -- VERY VERY OLD products from DAZ3D V4/M4 and before they changed their store in 2011, will have .EXE FILE Installers.
After 2011, Daz began implementing the IM000xxxxx-01_Filename.zip installer system which are ZIP Files which work in the Daz Install Manager or DIM.
If you have things which are encrypted then I would be wary of them.
I no longer download any DAZ EXE files as MOST of them come up in EVERY ANTIVIRUS program as "infected" or "false positives" for Malware. As those old methods of .EXE file creation now come up as infected, even if they are not.
The explanation FRANK21 gave above is good and I think it will work fine for you if you honestly want ancient Poser stuff and know where to FIND them in the Daz Studio interface.
I will remove the MEGA LINKS you posted to prevent the original poster from losing points to everyone else.
Please do not post other people's MEGA links to their products again in the future.
Cheers,

ZoneGFX ModeratorJuly 17, 2020 at 8:39 AM #1615213I was going to say that a lot of the old Poser .exe stuff from torrents were virus/trojan infected. I would scan them with at least 3 anti-virus/malware progs before attempting to run them. Running .exes pose a real threat of infection.
Also note that Poser .mc6 material files don't work in DS and I've posted some products that are Poser only in that regard. If you grab any Poser stuff be aware you may not have full functionality in DS.July 17, 2020 at 12:23 PM #1615264Sorry about posting the links, tho the users downloading them would come across the encryption and find the download useless I think, that said it WON'T happen again
My main concern was the .exe and people downloading loosing points to find they can't get them all, loosing some daily loggin points is one thing BUT loosing point one pay's cold hard cash for probley hurt a tad more.
I was more taken by the Vampire lady and outfit than anything and it say the other
assets where needed. it's no real biggy, I tend to be more into the stuff as close to dark-age fantasy sort of Skyrim Witcher 3 than skimppy stuff, yes I know there's heaps of skimppy on the Nexuse lol, not for me thoJuly 21, 2020 at 6:27 AM #1616056Check your points Kiwi-Hawk.
July 21, 2020 at 10:45 AM #1616094I Think is better execute the exe installer in another place, no de same "daz library", coz it´s really foolishess get the phats of that installer. No "temp" folders in %temp% in win systems. Just a few mini-secons..My estrategy is a freeware called "Evithing". Then, after installition, in everything
, look for all rececents, like a time.
I hope you understand me...If not , take a PM..

Thank you ALL for your help, I gave up on the older files and got a new Gen-8 set thats close enough, the only thing I'm missing is the hip belt and dagger
July 24, 2020 at 12:30 PM #1616739Kiwi-Hawk, I gave you some of my points a few days ago not because I upload .exe files (I extract them first) but because I do upload some older Poser stuff with mat files that don't work in DS. And I felt a bit sorry for you losing points on stuff you can't use.
It might be an idea for contributors to extract the .exe stuff into folders before posting them in the future.July 24, 2020 at 2:28 PM #1616761Kia ora
@Frank21
Thank you very much, it not a biggy really I was jus not sure about the EXE files, no dout your were all good but some nasties gome in exe so I just posted to let people know, I was jus taken with the outfit with that belt and dagger, it was more the password on the mega file stopping people extracting them too I think. As long as it's all good with the site, no worries, and again thanks for the points
