    Hi,
Always get lots of trouble with this [and a few other sites - Russian etc].
Cringe every time a download ends up opening one of them, instead of Mega.
Seems to go through phases of works / doesn't work - no apparent rhyme or reason. Get slow speeds, dropouts after almost complete - all very random and hugely annoying [and wasting data usage].
Wish all had to be on Mega - not perfect, but nearly.

Try using a download manager if you're downloading through the web browser usually. Browsers don't usually support multi threading or broken link resuming. Which, usually isn't the case with google drive. Also, even if chrome supports multithreading and resuming, it's not really that great. Slow speeds with GD are unseemly, and could be the cause of anything at all. As long as there's a datacentre in your country, the speeds shouldn't be that low. In which case it could be the ISP (some badly configured NAT or any firewall they might be imposing)

    Some recommended download manager:
JDownloader (free and powerful, but might not be for the average user)
FDM - Free download manager (alternative to IDM. It's somewhat similar to IDM so if you don't want a crack, go with this one)
IDM - Internet download manager (trial for 30 days after which needs a license, cracks are easily searchable. I use it, and I love it)
DAP - Download Accelerator Plus (Powerful, in between JDownloader and IDM)

You could also just import the files to your own Gdrive and use the GD sync app to sync them to your local storage. Or use something like RCLone or Expandrive as long as you have the files on your GDrive.

I use IDM and it works really well. Updates for IDM are frequent which keeps it up-to-date and I never had an issue. Because of the frequent updates, I would buy it - it's inexpensive, too.

Hopefully that fixed your issue with Google Drive. @katdume
Damn, I never saw who I was mentioning and who made the post. Hopefully it's correct now. On the off side, I am having issues with mega. Never use it and never like it for several reasons. So I am always bummed down whenever I get a link with mega. Super disappointed. In most cases, those products usually end up not downloading and I have to leech them off, which sometimes work, sometimes don't. Even importing the asset to your own cloud has 0 effects.
