Fisty and Marieah’s Gemologica, bursting with more than 800 stunning jewelry-inspired textures, is the most exhaustive shader collection yet developed for DAZ Studio. There are 150 semi-precious stone shaders, all created from photographic references, so whether you want fire opal, labradorite or lapis, you will find it here. There are 58 sparkling precious gems as well, including options to show poly facets. Tribal textures such as rough stones, bone and wood are there too, along with a folder full of delicate cloisonne and another containing dozens of glowing pearl and paua shell shaders.

Fun and funky is included as well, along with a fat folder of fabulous fake gems for lightning fast rendering. 50 fantastic metals with a choice of mapped or raytraced reflections make sure all jewelry texturing needs are met. There’s more. The product includes dozens of embossed and engraved overlays you can apply to any of your gem and metal textures with a single click. We’ve even included a superb round pendant with cord/chain as well as a prop pendant for all your Generation 4 or Genesis figures. To go with the pendant are 61 click-on emblems, molded with normal and displacement maps and crafted to carve themselves into whatever included gem material you choose to apply first to your pendant. Emblems include a full set of Western Astrology symbols so you could easily texture the pendant with your birthstone, then apply your star sign to it. We’ve even included a folder of cord and chain textures you can apply to pendant cord to achieve exactly the look you want. These are easy to use: just select your scene item and your surface, then click on the preset of your choice. Use the handy 1-click tiling presets to adjust the pattern size to suit your item, and you’re done.
