Party Beach Monster is a bird-like humanoid creature with a fishy mouth who has secured a fond place in the hearts of low-budget-movie fans. DopePope, the author of this amusing model for 3D printing must have provided the most apt description of his source of inspiration. According to the 3D artist, the sea creature for 3D printing is “a redesign of the monster from the old schlocky B-movie The Horror of Party Beach”. Although it is highly unlikely that the horror film in the beach party genre that was released in far 1964 would instil much fear, the movie’s title of “one of the worst films of all time” does arouse interest in taking a look at that summertime frenzy. After all, having watched the movie about weird atomic beasts who live off human blood!!! the author of the model spent 183 hours and came up with a very impressive project that is now available for 3D printing. The reptile figurine looks as weird as one would expect. The 3D artist did a perfect job portraying a humanoid aquatic creature with a head resembling one of a rooster, bulging eyes and fins. Monster’s mouth is full of tube-like appendages, its body is covered in scales and thin tentacles adore the merman’s back. Spawned from the combination of human remains, sea life and ocean-dumped radioactive waste the monster came out of the water to threaten partying teenagers.
