I don't as a habit, keep track of names so I wasn't aware that they where the creators of that excellent series of Rococo rooms I use a lot. Maybe I should pay attention more?
Thanks.October 18, 2026 at 11:32 AM #2192159I'm not familiar with this artist. Where did they/he/it/them/she come from?
October 16, 2026 at 8:24 PM #2191935@otero33, Over 100K posts?! Wow! That kinda nails it doesn't it. Someone should post THAT in their forums and see how long it takes them to delete the post.
October 16, 2026 at 5:33 PM #2191917That's a hoot @pooper! I sometimes think that the 3D part will die out with us, replaced by AI generated stuff. Still, I'm fiddling with the idea of combining the two. I working on getting that newfangled comfyui/Qwen-....oh...I said that already. I'd love to dress a real model in some fancy. ornate outfit and place her in some scene from Civitai. That can then be altered with instructions(?) from Civitai Red. Since it's advancing so quickly I'm sure I'll be able to do what I want before long. Maybe it isn't art but I don't care.
October 16, 2026 at 12:14 PM #2191868I just grabbed a bunch of items I didn't want to try RS out and it worked fine.
October 13, 2026 at 9:06 PM #2191638A thought about anything 'browser based' is that they now have the ability to use mine/your models and work for training AI or even selling it for AI training. Isn't that what Adobe was doing before they where caught?
October 13, 2026 at 6:41 PM #2191629And thanks again @pooper. Today was my breakfast-with-the-guys followed by a bit of shopping and I stopped in at my computer guy's place. We had a long chat and he showed me some equipment he'd gotten from a government office that had amalgamated it's IT stuff with another office somewhere else. As he went through it I could see cost and complication going up. I don't really trulio have THAT much stuff. Even my porn and scan collection fits on a modest hard drive. I have several 8Tb drives I bought before prices went ballistic, plus portable caddies. He suggested that I get a Sabrent brand drive caddie too for all my older but still serviceable drives.
October 13, 2026 at 6:34 PM #2191628Thanks @pooper, That's an excellent and in depth look that mirror's my first thought. After the great fiasco several months ago they banned so many artists and their items without mentioning why at first, and never really coming clean about it, I don't trust them.
October 12, 2026 at 8:28 PM #2191534@youtube, I'd like to suggest that you spend a bunch of time going through Daz, RenderHub and Rendo's items with a search for shoes, and don't stop if/when you find them. You'll certainly find a LOT of stuff you didn't know about which you can keep a picture of for later if the item strikes your fancy.
I never ask here since if I can't find something I like in any of the vendor's sites, it's not available.
October 12, 2026 at 8:23 PM #2191533October 12, 2026 at 4:34 PM #2191514There's someone on Civitai that's making a wide variety of excellent rooms and scenes...
( https://civitai.red/user/arrssenne/models?sort=Newest ). I like the idea of creating a character's face. I've a few that I'd like to experiment with.
Got an acre of leaves and a lawnmower waiting outside. Thanks for the info!October 12, 2026 at 4:24 PM #2191512It missed a bit of hair but did a hell of a lot faster and better job than I've done in Photoshop. I've spent many evenings fiddling with changing simple lingerie on a model in PS so I appreciate this. See my edit in the above message.
October 12, 2026 at 4:19 PM #2191510@gts6, Oooooooo.....shiny!
I'm assuming that a detailed character sheet might be used in Meshy (or similar) to create a 3D model?I just realized that this is not at all dissimilar to photogrammetry, what's now being called gaussian splatting.
October 12, 2026 at 2:15 PM #2191504@gts6, I have 10's of Ks of high resolution scans from vintage fashion magazines and I've always wanted to do a bit of editing, changing clothes and colours, changing the model or her hair etc.
I've tried some improvements such as removing the bit of moire but the results aren't amazing. There's also the problem of being overwhelmed (like @1138adrianmartinez ) by choices. I've read a bit about Qwen 2.1. Is this a recommendation you'd make?
Thanks!October 11, 2026 at 10:46 PM #2191407Hmmmmmm interesting.

This thing is free and is on Github. THAT makes it all a lot easier....hopefully. Still waiting on a login code from Telegram. I'm hoping that this item is already available.
I'll keep you all informed.
Thanks for the information. -
