Hello. When it was released I was thinking of updating to 4.24, but eventually decided to stick with 4.23 because I read some concerning complaints. So, 4.24.03 has proven to be good, hasn´t it?

Yeah, I've seen a lot of items tagged as "animals", just because it is the first tag alphabetically and people don't bother choosing the right one. However, I'd really like , for example, being able to do searches like "* hair *genesis 8*" or, at least, being able to search whole words, just not to get hairs mixed with chairs. This issue applies to general search too.

I guess asking for regular expressions would be too much... (just kidding)

Well, I didn't want to complain because I don't know what's going on under the hood, but lately I've gotten the impression that it is actually a bit slower. Maybe the issue is on my side, because I use Firefox with quite a bunch of extensions, so who knows... anyway, nothing to make a fuss about.

Hello; yes, I miss them, but in a quite particular way; when I was younger, I could afford very few comics. There were lots of issues I could never buy, and I had to settle with just reading those evocative covers and imagine by myself what would happen inside. The promises of the greatest story ever was always there, on every unread issue. Many times I was even unable to find the next issue of an ongoing story I was reading, so they remained unconcluded, lingering in the back of my mind for decades. Every comic was a scarce treasure and I reread each and every one I had thousands of times.

Now, almost everything is available online and I've built a sizeable library. Of course, getting older has a lot to do with my current state of mind, but after getting many of those comics that I was never able to buy when they were released I've found most of them... disappointing. My tastes have evolved, and while I still find a lot of different comics really enjoyable, being so easy to get anything has deprived me of that sensation of mistery and wonder, that thrill whenever I could get a new one. Somehow, it's not the same.

Hello, I'm not sure whether I'm understanding you correctly; I read a long time ago that creating a shortcut and adding " -instanceName DAZ#" to the destination lets you create additional instances. I've used this method to have up to 3 4.23 instances running simultaneosly.

Given that a lot of people here are far more skilled and experienced than me, I assume that you were already aware of this, so I'm deducting that this script is relevant because this method does not work with the latest beta, am I right?

Hello, I'm relatively new to DAZ, so I didn't know that each new full version breaks so many things. Well, I guess I'll wait for quite some time after its release before mesing with it. Not only because there will surely be a lot of bugs to iron out, but also because content generation will take some time. I hope they won't follow the current trend of enshittificating everything, but, honestly, a lot of previous posts about this beta have made me very pessimistic.
