Wow 20 minutes!? I store all my daz files on a separate NAS drive and even having to load over my network on a GIGABIT connection only takes about 3 mins for a similar G8 load. What sort of drives are you using?... Old 5400rpm hdd's? If so I'd say that is almost surely the bottleneck in your system, in which case a cheap SSD drive even if it's just for your Daz content if budget is tight would make a night and day difference.
