Daz3D has a very clear target group whose needs are covered by 98%. There are enough people out there who just want to be creative as a hobby after work, and that will remain the case for a long time. People who have scruples to get any pirate copies on the Internet and do not have or want to raise the financial means to acquire professional software that quickly goes into the xxxx $. Whereby they then have nothing but the software and first have to painstakingly train all the skills over years to realize in the end that they simply lack the talent. I don't see a competitor for this main target group.
The people who complain are a very small minority who, like everywhere else, are simply very loud. Complaining is easier than delivering results in other software, because if someone can deliver results, he would have switched long ago and would not complain about a software that in fact does all the work for him.
Whoever wants to create photorealistic images or even animations, professionally anyway, is completely wrong with Daz3D - that's the way it's always been.
