FWIW, there is a RiverSoft Art script(s) utility called Turbo Loader (and Turbo Loader Booster) that can disable morphs for faster loads. I haven't actually used Turbo Loader. I'm honestly intimidated by its process. I opt for simplicity, but then the cost of that is load time. But I think it might be worth adopting.
From the pdf:
How Turbo Loader Works
The first time that Daz Studio loads a figure generation (e.g., Genesis 3 Female or Genesis 8 Male) in a scene, Daz Studio searches your content directories for all the morphs used by that figure generation and gender and creates properties to control them. With a large content library with lots of morphs, this operation can take a long time. However, for most scenes, you don’t need all of those morphs.
Turbo Loader works by temporarily changing the file extension of morphs, properties, and aliases (from .dsf to .tloff) so that Daz Studio cannot find them when loading a figure. This drastically increases Daz Studio’s speed in loading figure and scenes, and in clearing scenes. The morph files are NEVER deleted; just the file extension is changed so there are no worries about losing files. You can use the Reset Morph Directory button to rename the extensions for entire directory structures to recover all morphs.

September 17, 2026 at 3:25 AM #2188175Here's an old joke that might shed some light on the OPs question.
Q: "What's the difference between Ignorance and Apathy?"
A: "I don't know. And I don't care."September 11, 2026 at 3:10 AM #2187387@supreme-leech Worse, the schools don't even spoon feed them knowledge, merely beliefs. Then they simply pass them along to the next grade, regardless of competency. They don't want to challenge or be challenged lest they are accused of an -ism. They have been told that they are victims. And, in truth, they are. But they're victims of their own making. They refuse knowing, in favor of believing. Believing requires no effort, no challenge. Anyone can believe whatever they like about whatever they wish. Knowing requires effort. Knowing is how you can effectively alter reality. Wait until they try believing a bridge into existence. They are largely scavengers, picking through the debris of the existing world that is crumbling around them. Civilization is a practice; a performance. And when enough people don't perform it, don't practice it, civilization goes away. Imagine a great roaring hearth, belching illumination and warmth. Surrounding it is a seemingly endless number of people enjoying it; telling stories; playing games; knitting; cooking and literally everything else. It has been continually stoked for centuries. In a mere half century, perhaps less, it has become taken for granted that the someone else will continue feeding it. As fewer and fewer individuals are willing (or able) to feed the hearth, it will diminish to an ember. And then nothing. No light. No warmth. No civilization. A return to Hobbes' "nasty, brutish, and short". And then...then they will truly understand the meaning of the word 'victim'.

"Externals"?
September 1, 2026 at 11:58 PM #2186362In addition, you can use Geometry Editor to make polys ( ex. the curly ends) invisible. If I recall correctly, invisiblized polys also persist in saves (Scene and Scene Subset), but I won't swear to it.
August 30, 2026 at 10:19 PM #2186155TIP: Take a trip into Geometry Editor and delete the curled polys if you don't like them. I frequently delete the ends of hair polys, or even entire strands when necessary.
Caveat 1: You can't 'Undo' the edit, but it won't affect the original hair; only the current hair in the scene. Unless you intentionally save it that way. For instance, the edit will persist in a Scene save or a Scene Subset save.
Caveat 2: If you delete the edited hair from the scene and want to reload it, the edit may persist until you quit and restart Studio.
August 28, 2026 at 11:01 PM #2185971Now it's throwing up "Search is temporarily unavailable. If the problem persists, please contact the site administrator."
And it isn't restricting me despite the 'https'.
In hindsight, perhaps they're doing some maintenance.
August 28, 2026 at 10:33 PM #2185969I went through this yesterday.
It is because you're trying to connect via https rather than http. Your browser may force an https (depending on your security/privacy settings), but it'll report that the connection isn't secure and refuse you access. All you have to do is delete the 's' in https and you should connect fine.
It's a good way of searching Daz3D, Renderosity, and RenderHub simultaneously...for the most part.
It's operated by Littlefox.

August 25, 2026 at 7:11 PM #2185678More than one person tried to kill you specifically for your political opinion? Do tell. I'm fascinated.
August 24, 2026 at 8:49 PM #2185589That's a fallacy. It's akin to saying 'no one stealing TV sets from Walmart is affecting Walmart's income because they had no intention of buying anyway.' It has nothing to do with the intention of buying. It is because stealing digital copies doesn't decrease the endless supply of digital copies. The stealing and then distributing of those copies diminishes the requirement to buy, thus affecting the income of the source. It's Economics 101.
My use of "buy" was me chuckling at such a notion on a site devoted to stolen/shared assets.
Otherwise, you're not wrong. In time, AI will ascend, and DAZ3D etal will descend. Okay. But that doesn't change the fact that these people prefer to use 3D over AI. They're simply different tools used to produce a common result.
