Heavy Powersuit
"What you see here is the latest generation heavy powersuit from Cybergen Dynamics. Everyone remembers the first generation, the so-called Body Tank, first used in the Hypergenetic Wars against Medigen Industries back in 2219 - 2225, but this newest version trumps the Body Tank in almost every metric.
"Overall, it stands roughly 3.66 meters tall, and weighs 1.3 tons. The pilot plugs himself or herself in to the cybernetic control module, and is then braced in by the cockpit brace. The torso hatch closes, and then the interface assumes control from the neck down, enabling the Heavy Powersuit to function as if it was the user's own body.
"Testing at the Delta Area Zone began on June 13, 2316, where it proceeded to withstand nearly as much punishment as the classic H4 Catapult hovertank. While there are optional weapon mounts, the decision was made to stick to primarily hand-held weaponry, to speed the training of pilots on their way to the various hotspots of the galaxy.
"The Heavy Powersuit is ideal in urban environments, providing both armored cover and fire support in the close-in situations often found there. On the open battlefield, they are best delivered as external 'passengers' on fast attack vehicles, dropping them directly into the thick of fighting.
