    I tried to change my password, but I couldn't use the one I wanted. Obviously I can't go into detail! But I like to use lots of special characters, and one or more of them must have caused the rejection. The error message gives no clues.

    Anybody know what's allowed?

    Not sure what happened, but most sites have rules on what special characters can be used.

    usually upper and lower case letters and the numbers 0 to 9 are allowed
    (general rule)

    perhaps some sites allow other categories...
