Hello everyone,
Just wandering if anyone else is experiencing this as well, but since the maintenance,
te site runs very slow ... clicking the login button on the homepage takes more than a minute and then the actual login page (name and pasword) takes also 1-2 minutes to load the site.Browsing posts and pages is almost impossible and clicking a post to open is again 1 minute or even more... and since the maintenance i haven't received the message of 100points daily login
anumore....not a complaint 😀 just asking if it's something on my side in browser settings (allthough I haven't changed anything and before the maintenance it ran smooth and fast ) or is it due to the maintenance ?
It seems like the entire problem is with Cloudflare timing out after 100 seconds. Something is lagging the site with each click - I notice on the bottom row that many different websites are called up by the site per page, causing the site to constantly time out. I am not sure why ZoneGFX is calling all sorts of external sites before opening a single page. The more pages are called up before a page loads, the more seconds the timeout will hit, and then the site breaks as the response to Cloudflare as a valid site page response gives a false message and it goes into a Cloudflare 500... to any one of 5xx crash codes. But it is all related to the 100 second timeout.
Apparently too much tracking garbage is being called, and loaded before presenting a single page. This needs to be looked at by the higher-ups.

Depends on the time of day and how many people are on board. But yeah.. we sail sloooowly forward and hunter hoist slowly the sails

The site works at normal speed if you LOG OUT ie Private window in FireFox, i don't know if this is any help to @Hunter
Yes very slow for me taking ages to do anything. having slow internet here is probably not helping but used to be much faster.

For me, it's starting to hit the fan as well. Login sometimes not even possible.
@Hunter should so seriously tell what's going on.Server Main OS got updated ... and all my settings got reset automatically 🙁
Last time it took a long time to tweak the setting .. I hope you guys remember.
Now try to find an optimal setting so that zone gets fast again ...Privacy Pass is an opensource browser extension that is designed to create a "certificate" for you to use on Cloudflare pass-through that use a captcha. You're supposed to generate one, it takes you to a Cloudflare page, you fill in a captcha, and you're good to go. You can visit any Cloudflare pass-through protected by a captcha, and Privacy Pass is supposed to bark a magic command at it that makes it open the gate.

I've used it on and off for a few years, and have experienced maybe one or two places it actually ever worked, but mostly it breaks stuff. I ragequit each time and uninstall it.
Having the same experience with it again this time.
Time for a haircut again, Firefox. Always something to trim off this thing. 🙁And yes, Zone has been extremely slow since, with or without Privacy Pass installed.
I just figured it was my VPN being snarky or something, but it seems it's not just me.
