I don't get why so many people try to post free products in an attempt to get credits for it... Kinda just hope that the credits they get for it are being revoked when it's being changed to a free product.
Btw, that asset can be received on RH for free, just gotta follow the links.
Yep, and still people are trying to cheat and post it as a normal asset instead of a free one, hence me saying I hope the points are getting revoked after the report is accepted and it made a free product
There is a report reason to actually point out free products, which I did hence it now being displayed as free. Still kinda greedy by that poster to do it.
I've spent a lot of time and effort converting, reassembling and retexturing 3D models to share here. I could claim that the effort I put into it was worth some points, but as the base models were free I think they should stay free so I post them in the FR section.
I agree that just getting a free item and then asking points for it is a bit rude. I'm glad the member who did this has "seen the error of their ways" LOL.I never DL anything that I don't first check out the source of but obviously many do not do this or they would have seen the item was free.... nearly 50 people in this case. Maybe some members don't actually care about paying the 50 points even if it's a free item.
IMO you're being a bit harsh Ethiopia asking for a ban. I do note the poster isn't a newcomer and would/should know the rules by now, but after this it's unlikely to happen again.I'm not for or against banning the offending user but what should at least be done is to take away the points he made with it and give them back to the people who bought it without checking that it was for free (btw, if you check he even forgot to add the source link at first in another attempt to hide its a free product). Plus he should also have removed a few more points as punishment.
With his point count it might be relatively ineffective but would still send a message to other people thinking about trying it.
Then again it seems also that either he deleted the files since he can't make a profit anymore or "Sonne" actually also spies here similar to 3DUK and got the links taken down.
