I'm confounded at how many people are replying to PMs that specifically say "do NOT reply", because they are a group message. Is it that we really have this many people who are simply not very observant? Or has it become some kind of weird joke for tons of people to reply to these PMs? What's going on here people? Let's be a little more careful and respectful when group PMs are sent that directly ask you to not reply to them.

Easy answer, they don't read, they grab the link, reply with thanks and close it. The ability to read is lost with lots of people here

I tried so hard by making those templates saying THIS IS A MULTI-POST PLEASE DO NOT REPLY... in LARGE LETTERS.

I realize people want to say thank you, and to say they sent their points. And believe it or not -- MANY who receive my MULTI-POSTS with fulfillments have attacked me telling me to stop sending them tons of messages, when it's the people receiving the products who reply - when it says NOT TO.

The Multi-Posts feature is helpful when filling Requests to lots of people, and if I didn't use it, I would have to make around 100 mouseclicks and cut and past the info one by one for EVERY person I am fulfilling the requests to. I have fulfilled requests to over 40 individuals, can you imagine doing one post at a time? I actually have a post it note here in front of me, with names of those people who attacked me in the past for others answering the multi-posts -- and I actually go out of my way to make a separate PM for those people to avoid the backlash I know they will give me if just one person wrote "thanks points sent".

I do wish people could read. Or if it were possible to make a multi-post feature with NO REPLY at all -- or if it replied with a 1:1 to the sender.

Personally I appreciate those who write me personal PMs after the get the Multi-Post and know its a multi post.

    Greetings,
    AnjaBear

    @anjabear
    I hope that I am not on your 'post-it-note-of-death' [ lol ]

I only mentioned it because I had 42 replies.
And still get the multi0-replies [but not complaining anymore - not your fault after all].
But, as others mention - Please Read The Instructions, and not reply.
It is so frustrating to get notifications of many messages - only to find 'thank you notes' that are nothing to do with you, and take longer to delete than to read.

    🙂

I wish the uploaders would just go back to single PMs. Yeah, I get its easier and more convenient but everyone gets one PM if someone happens to reply to it.

I am with @anjabear on this one. I never reply to group messages because it's obvious everyone else in the group gets notified for a message you are sending for 1 person. So if you reply to a 25 man group message chat everyone else gets notified. It's very annoying to be honest.

I've stabbed this thing a few times, too. But when you’re very happy about something, it suddenly breaks out of you to thank the person who uploaded it. 🙂

Have ya ever heard about "humans are a creature of habit". I think for most people it's like @kukoricaderce (Szabo) said, once you get through reading the message, the joy overwhelms them, then need for being respectful by saying thanks kicks in, and thought just sorta goes out the window. I've caught myself doing this, and once you send it and then realize what you did, you can't change it. The majority of fills I get are done 1 on 1, so once you get 10 or 12 like this and then all of a sudden a group message comes in, habit takes over and you just reply. I don't see the need to attack peoples ability to read, maybe some are lazy or whatever, or just don't care, idk. I work at trying to slow down on my replying now, so I don't screw up again, but I'm sure one will slip by every now and then, as so far I think there is only 2 people that send me fills via group.

I too would like to see either ability to reply to group chats be eliminated, or have the reply only be routed to the sender. It would remove a lot of fear I have about being flamed for making a mistake. But I get a few notices of people responding to group posts, and I don't ever remember getting all bent out of shape over it, it's like "hey, others screw up too sometimes, YAAY!"

I'm not sure if I've ever done that, as the messaging system isn't the most immediately intuitive. Also, why are you complaining about people thanking you, wherever it may be? Seems a bit neurotic, honestly.

@elgato99 because everyone else in the group message gets notified for a thank you that is a given. If the person who fills asks explicitly to not reply to the message why would you do it? Once or twice is fine, it happens, but unfortunately it's not once or twice. This happens all the time by the same people.

Because by replying, you are directly ignoring the wishes of the person kind enough to supply you with your request. It is not that difficult to read a message, especially with usually the first thing being said is "do not reply" etc etc. It is blunt ignorance and disrespect. I am brand new to this site and I can easily comply with the wishes of the fillers.

Like I said, I don't believe I've ever done it, as far as I know. I don't do very many requests. Though, I can understand the annoyance of it for very active providers now. Maybe an FAQ for people might help.
