I mean i see too many casual, bikinis, Daily life/ fashion. If i wanted to make a character creator i would add more clothing varieties. Military/Tactical/Medieval/Work/Creature.

Casual and fashion genre are least used if i want to make a project or game since they are only for used for pedestrian NPCs in open world games.

I find there is a lot of stuff around, might be hard to find due to how some things are named, but I got a fair amount of the above in my Lib.
just a few renders I did over time

I guess it all depends on the idea you got, but a lot is possible

I think a better way to look at it is 'What do I want to do?'
Then see if it can do it well enough.

I think you've answered your own question about Daz users.

I've seen plenty of posts asking the exact opposite of what the OP just asked. Folks cry for more regular clothes and decry the flood of Sci-Fi and fantasy/military items.
I'm sure that Daz does some kind of market research and makes what people tell them they want.

It is the impractical fantasy wear / skimp wear that they mainly promote.

Everyday wear is quite under represented.

@Ethiopia I still dont understand why they need it for, I mean for an example i want military clothes so i can make my protogonist character for a military shooting game. What game are they going to make with Bikinies and fashion things?

Plus i dont see many military outfits in daz at least not for genesis 9 Feminine and most are too masculine for genesis 9 feminine.

Scifi is not my thing too and yes they also promote it but a lot of scifi is mixed with some fashion daily life thing(For an example scifi bodysuit)

    @meowth594,

I still dont understand why they need it for,

That's the key phrase. There's all kinds of things folks are using these types of clothing for. There's plenty of forums where people make wonderful renders that AREN'T games or involve shooting/killing. Lots of folks do nice everyday scenes with regular folks doing regular things.

DAZ assets has always been based on 'extreme' sex stereotypes, which is why you'll almost never see any authentic looking military gear for female characters in the Daz assets. I've seen Daz used for everything from comics to book and cd covers or just for fun so the target audience is essentially anyone and everyone.

Daz characters and assets aren't really suitable for games if you ask me. Sure in visual novels (adult or otherwise) they work, or if you make sprites out of renders or something like that.

Yes, they're alluring for a solo dev or a small group because the one thing programmers usually can't do, i.e. create great looking graphics, comes easily with Daz and Daz characters and that's the issue right there - Daz models, in particular the latest gens, are way too detailed and has too high resolution to work fine in a game where you play 'in real time', such as a shooter. Sure, you can fix it by using decimators in Blender and what not to reduce everything.

You're better off finding assets in the Unity or Unreal asset store - less work with those, but since you're not concerned about piracy which means you're unlikely to release the game, why not just rip characters and assets from a game like Arma or DayZ SA? Both have female characters and both have a plethora of authentic looking military gear.

I guess you missed out on the giant market of adult video games built around Daz renders
