So, just because I wasn't happy about a download link due to some people warning about downloading from said link mxyzptlk decides to send me rude and disrespectful comments. I don't know who this person is or who they think they are, but talking to me like that is totally unacceptable. I honestly don't like getting emails unless they are important emails. If I could somehow turn these off after I send some points and get the item, I just need one notification letting me know that I can DL the item, that's it not multiple comments spamming me about it.

My uncle just passed away I don't need any drama from anybody on here AT ALL. I simply had an issue with a link and didn't want to download from it since i usually avoid bunkr links. But sending me rude, disrespectful comments just because I didn't want to download from a site I don't trust, is totally uncalled for.

Sure I don't buy and upload stuff here I paid for, doesn't mean I don't still contribute to the site in some way, the points are still obviously going to the person who post what they are offering so they get something out of it.

How about putting a real email on a Warez site? Oh, of course...! I'm also going to leave you my car keys and my credit card!
The truth is that I registered with an ephemeral email that I only used for verification. NEVER put your personal email on these types of sites!! The reason is simple: What happened to you could happen or a federal agent could be idle and bored and want to investigate...
Apart from the absolute lack of education of the person who insulted you, I suggest that you do not use your real email anywhere, except for your bank or tax procedures.
Could you make public who he is, so we can all wish him a Merry Christmas? 😀

I thought the OP was talking about PMs, or emails generated from PM's. If he's spreading his email address around then that's just stupid.

I'm just here to have fun like everyone else. I mean I just wasnt happy having to download an item from Bunkr after donating 500 points so I felt like it was a waste. Regardless that's no reason for some random person I don't know to make it personal just because I had an issue with a damn link. It's ridiculous.

So you started it yourself by bitching about a DL link? That's not what your initial post said before you changed it.

If, having offered points, a request is filled via a site that you feel uncomfortable accessing, then you should not lose the points or the item.

Either a request to the filler for an alternative link or if not prepared to do so - a refund.

I constantly get issues downloading from several sites [ Russian based and other so-called well used ones that others do not find a problem]. Still a P.I.T.A for me.
i have sent several requests foralternatives and have never been let down. The majority of members here are helpful and obliging.
The occasional jerk just needs to be taken out and shot... 🙂

    @projectgenesis
You got a request filled. Did you use the opportunity to say thanks? No, you decided to whine about it in a multiple person PM. I called you out. I was even gentle about it. You then decided to lash out. Escalation is never good...but I will partake. Now you wish to go to the masses and misrepresent the situation so you can get someone to kiss your boo-boo.
I will say it publicly. As someone that doesn't contribute, your opinion on how fills are made carry VERY little weight. And you should probably go back and show a little gratitude.

If a filehost is blocked in your country just use a VPN. Be happy people take the time to upload things for you at all. For free no less!
I've seen this kind of entitlement only from people who don't contribute at all.

And dragging personal issues into the public like this is ridicolously immature. The request PM tells you who to contact in case of any fill problems.

I've occasionally had issues with links and even fillers with no links. A "polite" request to refresh or change a link has worked 99% of the time. The few times it didn't work points were refunded. I see no issues in requesting something that works for you. I've had links that wanted to install crap on my computer or were loaded with tons of click to DL ads. Part of being a pirate I guess.

Just to close this topic, @projectgenesis you started the whole avalanche by opening the Filling PM with a "Why Bunkr? Damn what a waste of 500 Credits, I dont DL from Bunkr, heard too much bad stuff about it.".
It's a bit steep if you ask me. If you have a problem with the provided link, you should start like this: "Oh, Bunkr. I heard a lot of bad stuff about it and it's hard to download anything from there. Any chance for a different link or could I get my points back, please? Thank you."

Even with the steep start, the folks tried to help you, @mxyzptlk provided you the perfect solution (which 1000% works): "If you use AdBlocker and uBlock origin together, that all goes away........". And the comment after this with the "I'm just going to say it. When you start contributing, your opinion will carry more weight." was a pretty light indicator that you were in the red.

Everything else after these were pretty much pointless.
