    Hi all,

Just a simple question. Is there an artist you like to collect and why. Does their work suit your render style. Do they have morphs that apply well to other characters etc. No real reason for this this question other my own curiosity.

My list below in no particular order:

Rhiannon (both clothing and characters). My colour blindness lends me to doing a lot of dark, goth type renders and her style suits this perfectly.

Mousso - always loved her female figures (though many are similar). She has recently started doing male figures as well.

DM - the environments and poses can be used in so many ways/scenes.

IST - great characters with imperfections makes them feel unique.

Darwin's Mishaps - In my opinion the best male figures by a long way.

Colm Jackson - Both lighting and figures. They just seem to have more detail.

Papertiger - fantastic lighting packages with bonus options such as cameras to allow hdri lighting indoors.

Aeon Soul - clothing with masses of details and options. Now if only they would release the character they use in their promos for sale.

Nirvy - Great outfits but mainly for the morphs which allow various states of undress.

Zeddicuss - great range of poses which give me great starting points for when I don't feel like creating the poses from scratch.

Shannas Soulmate - Inked series of tattoos - suit my render style so well.

These are my main go to artists.
There are other artists I like and grab their stuff due to the high quality like Stonemason and Polish but they are more nice to haves than my "must haves".

Any artists high on your list. Hopefully I might learn a few that I may have missed.

    SDL.

Particular favourites for hair products are Neftis, Prae, Samsil, 3DU.

    Clothing JaMaRe, Arryn, PsychoGinger

    Characters:

Too many to give a comprehensive list to be honest, but my preferences are for ultra realism.
Some artists are great at morphing, others at texturing.
Very few are really good at both.
Most competent vendors have a style which is instantly recognisable.
Often this makes their characters look similar.
This does not bother me, as I visualise all their charcaters as being from the same family, which is true in a way.

    ManFriday, he make good scripts.
And maybe LilFlame and Nirvy, I love naughty clothes with morphs, cuz I am a spanking artists, so I need clothes where I can show the bottom <3
    Dforce is wonderful^^.
I wish there would be more jeans.
Sparkman from Rendo is also nice, mainly Rendo is good, Daz3d is a bit lesser naughty, also with Promoimages.

Yes, Daz's prudish outlook is a problem.
I like a nude promo or two of a character, so I can see the texture I am buying.

    🙂

I'm always excited when I see products from some particular artists. Even if the product doesn't appeal at me at first I find that if I look closer it will always be a great product.
Fabiana, Aeon Soul, Lully, Maddelirium, Stonemason, secondcircle, OOT, Lady Littlefox, 3D Universe, bluejaunte, RareStone, maelwenn, Hinkypunk, Virtual_World, P3D, WindField, Linday, Crocodile Liu, Soto...
I never realized how many vendors I love so much! I'm sure that my list could go on and on. So weird, I thought they were only a couple 🙂
Special mention to one in particular. Even though she stopped making textures, danae was the queen of my content library, I still use her textures and they do stand the test of time.
