I use G8, both male and female. I can't for the life of me find an expression pack or achieve a nice, genuine smile with any G8M character I've made. Doesn't matter if it's out of the box or a combination of morphs. I've been able to put together nice, genuine-looking smiles on my female characters using a combination of the Amira smile expressions as well as light flirt or another eye-relaxing pleasure expression. But the dudes just come out looking creepy or ridiculous. Like a sneer or a half-hearted fake smile. It's bugging me because I'm big on facial expressions, and the only things that work visually for me are the male as either stoic or conveying a negative emotion. What combo of morphs and/or figures do you guys use to make a male character look happy, in love, laughing, desirous, or anything positive?

Please be as specific as possible with any morphs and this and that. Also, I'm cool with changing up my base male figures if that's what it takes to better convey emotions. No reason to change my G8F stuff, but G8M seems pretty lacking in this regard.

Have you tried using female expressions on males? the dial sliders are for the most part identical, might need to manually tweak some things here or there but yeah I usually poach my G8F poses and expressions for men because there isn't nearly as much content available.

Sorry for the late response. I've never tried that. How do I install the expressions to G8M?

I've found for expressions never to dial them in at 100%. Play around with the sliders, maybe even mix and match.

Just click on the female expression in your content library while you have a g8m selected. Works for poses too.

Just tried that last night. It's hit or miss, but most expressions made specifically for either gender don't look good when they're dimed regardless. Found a few really good ones though. Thank you for the tip.

Cobra, I agree, and I've had good results with mixing for females. I've combined negative and positive emotions and been able to get what I want. I still have difficulty doing that with males though. Part of that is that the only expressions I have for males is the original set, which often sucks for the women as well. Most of the expressions I use come from mixing morphs done by creators.
